Cottage - mmmmmm. Lemon cake. I'm such a sucker for anything lemon + dessert. I cannot have anything like it in the house. It's a good thing DH HATES it.

Ruth - I've never grown asparagus.....difficult? You seem to have quite a bit in a rather short period of time. Mosquitoes are REALLY bad here.

Cat - Cute dress! Is your ex an oilman?

Nat's Mom - Did you have a paid maternity leave? Be careful about contracts saying that you must return back to work after the maternity leave.....a friend of mine tried to do just as you are after have a 6 week paid maternity leave. The company sued her for the full amount plus interest.
Good luck!

gonnabe - have a great time shopping!

tk - Congrats on the weight loss, girl!

I have to make a run to Men's Warehouse this morning to pick up a sportcoat and pair of pants that have been altered. DS woke up at 7:30 this morning, terrified. I have no idea what is causing this. It was the exact same thing yesterday morning as well. Same time and everything. DH ended up going into his room and sleeping on the floor next to him for a half hour. I wish I knew what was causing this. I thought it was just a bad dream, but the same time two days in a row? It isn't dark in his room in the morning (dim, but definitely not dark) so it isn't that. If DH or I aren't in the room with him, he sobs uncontrollably and starts to hyperventilate.

Hey everyone - fly-by for me. DH being out of town has got my schedule and my eating and working out off. Let's just say yesterday was off-plan, off-plan, off-plan. Back to form today and may be doing another week of P1. Sigh.

Quick post for me...

Today started off well as I woke up to gorgeous weather after a truly yucky, rainy day yesterday. Right now it's 58 degrees, blue skies, and sunny

I'm off to take a quick shower and then meet my friend at the mall for some shopping as we haven't seen each other since we've been home from school. I am excited to treat myself to a skinny iced mocha at Starbucks....yum!

I am trying to enjoy these last few days until my class starts next week and my job begins at the end of June

Hello chickies, won't say good morning since for some of you its already afternoon.

Busy day at work, but tonight will be nice and slow at home.

Sounds like everyone is doing well.

Hi beachflower and welcome - hope you enjoy your shopping trip

Poor Kim - hang in there

I'm a tad bit mad as my moms best friend called me while I was at lunch to tell me my mom is now not going on vacation with us and her reasons are so uh! Whats a girl to do?

Sorry to hear that GonnaBe......sometimes things like that can be so frustrating!

Why didn't your mom tell you herself?

What do you ladies think of egg salad. DS wants egg salad for lunch BAD....and I was thinking of having it with him, without bread because I had a grain for breakfast. I usually use two hardboiled eggs, 1 T. reduced fat mayonnaise, a little bit of mustard and some salt and pepper.

zeff, egg salad is fine, I have it all the time. I usually chop some celery in there too to get some extra veg, and wrap it in a lettuce leaf. But be careful about the reduced fat mayo, better to use regular which is made with healthy fats, the reduced ones usually have some sugars added.

Zeff your egg salad sounds great - I do mine the same way & put it over lettuce

My mom won't tell me she's not going cause she knows I will be mad - she says just wants to stay here and be by herself which I think is lame. She use to complain she never went anywhere because of my dad well my dads gone whats the excuse . Sorry I am just so frustrated I just wish she would go she's never been and I know she will love it.

I am knee deep in Twilight Camp registrations. Tonight is a Walking Den Leader training session and then another tomorrow night and then Junior Staff training on Thursday.

I've been stress over emails my husband is sending but I'm just going to ignore what I can. It looks like Brian will spend a month with Robert in the summer so I may not be able give him a birthday party any time near his birthday. But this should only be if the divorce gets final, I would think.

Thanks girls.

Schmoodle - I checked to make sure it didn't contain any added sugars and it didn't, it is made with olive oil as well.

GonnaBe - My grandmother was the same way. I'm not exactly sure what it comes from, but it's unfortunate. She may change her mind again, give her some time.

Barb - sorry your ex is being such a jerk.

Hi my oldest dd dances and I dance as well in an adult class. Lots of fun.
Cottage- I will post pics once I get some taken in my costume. And dd went for her bone scan last week and has a drs app the end of the month to get her results. She is still having pain, but is sleeping better as the doc gave her some meds. Thanks for asking.

Grilled asparagus may well be the food of the gods. I'm just saying.

Hope everyone had a good day!
