Good Friday morning chicks!

Cottage glad to hear the girls are having fun, sure sounds exciting!

Cyndi Enjoy the day off!

Ruth hey shopping sounds like a perfect excuse to come to the states!

Nessa Happy b-day!

Cat great news about DS!

Schmoodle I want to open the windows too!

Fluffy hope you get everything done you need to today!

Me Ugh Marriage issues again! DH (think of it as you wish) has said he is moving out, this makes about 100 times he has said it and I have had enough! Sadly, I guess, if he really does go this time, I am ok with it. No whining here, but please say some prayers that wherever this goes my kids are ok with it!

Pacergal, I do not know how old your kids are but they will be fine. they will be better off with stability than the back and forth of the i'm leaving vs not going.

my babies were 3 and 5 when their dad and I split. they are now 23 and 21 and doing just fine... (dang i've been divorced from longer than I was married to this man)

for me when my DH says he's going i offer to help him pack. I just hate the threats and if he thinks he has the power to scare me with his leaving, he's just plain wrong....do you think your DH threatens it as a way to control you?

Thanks chicks, I will look for them when I shop this week. I know I've seen them around here somewhere.
Ruth, or just send us a list and we'll make up a care package! so far: fabric, Old Bay Seasoning, Cereal... or you could just come to my house and go through the rubbermaid tubs of fabric that I'll never live long enough to use up!
Nessa, ouchie-wa-wa on the foot! Hope it heals up fast. Were you doing yoga from a DVD? which one? I've been looking for a good one. You know basics, for fat beginners with no flexibility left.
Stephanie, Nessa has a point. If he really wanted to go, he'd be gone already probably. Using threats is no fair.
Hi Jan!

It's gorgeous out, we had a really nice walk to school. guess I oughta think about getting to work now...

Hiya gals. I have read each and everyone of your post but have no energy to reply to you individually. I am a bit mad, sad, upset & depressed today as my family is yet going through something. This time it's with my mom - she went for her yearly eye exam on Monday and the told her to come back on Thursday afternoon that they needed to do a special test well about 7pm lastnight she called crying saying she was diagnosed with some form of glaucoma and it's a glaucoma only diabetics get (sorry can't recall the exact name) Her eye doc has recommended she see a specialist at Mayo Clinic as they are the best at this stuff. My mom has already called me twice this morning in tears wondering why this, why something else why us. I keep telling her to give it to God but seems since we lost so many people so close togethr in time she has been doing a bit of questioning God.

Thanks you guys for letting me vent I feel better already

sometimes the answer is BECAUSE....

my mom died of cancer at 58.... sucks but it's a fact of life for me.

I'm sorry your mom has Glaucoma. hopefully they can treat it and they caught it early enough. A quality of life can still be had. let her grieve her loss....

good morning chicks---

Nessa- Happy birthday!!!!! yesterday was DD birthday but probably be celebrating today and my best friends birthday is Sunday and I made her a "purse" cake. I really hope she'll like it. It actually came out cuter then I thought it would. will post pics later.
Pacer-if you're fine with him leaving, then maybe he should! It's better for the kids to have peace in the home even if both parents aren't there. Sometimes it's just better.
Everyone else-have a wonderful day.

Me-another busy day. Doctors appts, drop the cake off, go to the bank, no time for anything.

Ruth we can get Red Mill in Halifax can avoid border taxes that way. Don't send anything Fed ex to Canada they make us pay for the package. I think they take the money and run. No one else but Fed Ex does that. But you can make the same exact thing. Mix some Steel Cut Oats with whole grain rye 2/3 oat 1/3 rye. Thats all it is. You can get the grains at a health food store.

I worked nights last night but am having some trouble sleeping today. I think its cause I'm sore. . It's really hard to try to figure your meals when you change over like that. Very confusing. You can't work a 12 hour shift without eating something and yet you don't want to eat too many calories. The work has quite a bit of activity in it probably more than 8 hours walking bending and lifting.
I don't think I'm eating enough but I'm not sure how to count the calories when I have a 24 hour or in this case going on a 36 hour stretch. Any ideas? Its easier when you work nights consistantly instead of once a week like this schedule does.

Nessa - Happy birthday! Enjoy every minute of it.

Pacer - We're here to support you no matter what happens. Everyone here has really helped me so much as I go through my divorce. Brian went to a class with probably 30 other kids last weekend where they broke the kids into groups by age and helped them deal with what they are feeling about the divorce. He doesn't talk about it much but I think it helped. This was held while we were in parenting classes from divorcing couples across the hall. Ann Landers used to say to ask if you are better off with him or without him. I AM better off without Robert.

gonna - I hope they caught the glaucoma early enough to treat it.

Me - I got my taxes done yesterday at an accountant so that is done. Hopefully Robert will give me my half of the refund. Last night was Roundtable and it was a lot of fun. Today is the start of Spring break for Brian. He's at his old day care and they have a field trip and cookout at the park planned today. It should be a nice day for it too.

I'm planning to stop at Lowes and get lava rock to put down where we have some erosion around the pool. There is nothing planned tonight and that is fine with me. I've got to finish up the Junior Staff/Junior Helper Registration forms for Twilight Camp today but at least I finished the adult staff yesterday and the scout and Walking Den Leader ones are done. It's all coming together. I just need to get together with the program director and registrar and come up with dates for Walking Den Leader and staff training and then reserve rooms for that.

Nessa & Schmoodle I really think he is trying to find some control, he hasn't been happy since my weightloss (well it goes further back than that but really bad since then). I think he sees my new found confidence as a threat. I am happy with my job and very much needed here and he hates his and makes half of what I do but refuses to do anything about it. I am just tired of of his constant whining. I know things will be ok if he leaves just a little tight.

Once again I am woman hear me roar!

Pacer-that's right, "I am woman, hear me roar!" Stay strong, anything is possible---you just have to make it that way. Know what I mean?!

when it's your income to begin with! I think I am in the mood to be mad today, and there's nobody around here to be mad at! Want me to get out my rolling pin and come take care of things? Pacer, I can take care of your husband too!

Thanks for the cereal tip Spirit!
tk, we want to see the purse when you get a chance.
