Morning chickis!

Had such a crazy weekend food wise as we had to get the house in order for the construction guys today. Saturday I had my eye apt & the doc found a small spot on my left retna & she said the MRI should pick up if it is something to worry about.

Sorry no personals right now as I am trying to get all my work done so I can leave early today

Have a great morning

Default Some good news

HR said I don't need the transcripts so I'm all set to go. May go tommorow just to get the daggone thing over with. The US is worse but they're more precise about what theyre looking for. You know exactly what you need and what to expect. It will be one stressor out of the way. I'm still doing good though no cheats.

Somewhat quick fly-by here...our computer at home is down, so I have to use the computer at work for a ton o' stuff. Hope everyone is doing well and we aren't the only ones with lovely "spring-like" weather!

Not too much happening--no dog obedience class tonight because of the holiday. I'm planning on going to the gym if they're open. If not, maybe DH and I can take the pup on a long walk, providing the streets aren't full of mud...

It's break week at work, so I'm expecting it to be pretty quiet.

Have a great day!

A couple quickies (you know I couldn't resist reading... )

Ruth, I'm sorry about the puppy. But I agree with you--the pup that's just right for you will be there when you are ready. You'll enjoy him/her so much more when you can do what you need to do and want to do without pain or treeeemendous effort. Just imagine wiping up after puppy spills continuously when you can't kneel or squat! I feel your disappointment, though, hon. Do you think a friend can either make puppy visitations or that, when you can drive, you can go play with some puppies in the meantime? There's nothing like those tumbling, licking, fuzzy balls of fur to make you smile!!!

Loriann, we must live awfully close. I'm about 45 minutes/1 hour from Lollypop, though I haven't been there. I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. It's never easy to make that decision...but it's so hard to see them feeling sick. 19 is a WONDERFUL age for a kitty to reach and shows that you have taken incredible care of Gideon. Is it possible that Gideon is having trouble with his food? Maybe a change there might help? I wish I could remember what was wrong with my in-laws' cat. She threw up for several years until they discovered the problem and then she was perfectly fine and so much nicer and happier! I'll keep you and Gideon in my prayers.

Cat! You poor dear! That's just awful!!! Hope you feel much better very soon!

CyndiM, that's an AWESOME NSV!!!!!!!! I remember what an amazing feeling it was to know that my body was there to help me do things rather than seeing it as something that was weighing me down (no pun intended...).

Smile I think I am going to have to set my alarm

to start chatting with you all so early in the morning! I begin work two hours later on Mondays so I use that opportunity to get a few things done around here before logging on here.

I posted a new thread about sharing some feedback about how this food plan is working for you. I hope you will find the time to share. I really do read everything and save quite a bit of it too.

I was feeling really blue for about five days after returning from Minnesota and seeing how ill my Mom is. It has really made me feel really emotional and I am not sure what to do with all the emotions. So, I slept as much and as often as I could. My DH tried to get me interested in some future weekend things. I said, I will go but right now nothing sounds good to me.

I am happy to report that I have lost all the excess water weight from going back to MN. I spent some time reading some of the posts of the maintainers on this site. I wanted to pick their brains and see what they did to get where they are at now. I really want this really bad and my confidence level is waffling.

I made some decisons though yesterday:

1)homemade fudge out the door the minute it is made.

2) If I keep my nose to the grindstone I can hit goal weight Easter 2009.

3)if I travel again, the SBD food comes with. I thought about doing that but I guess I didn't want to seem "weird". I still am self-conscious about admitting that I am on a diet.

If anyone else has any suggestions on how to get this weight off let me know.

I am happy to report that I lost the 9 lbs I gained. It took 5 days to put it on and 5 days of near perfect SBD food to get it off.

Hope everyone is doing well, keep up the spirits Spirit, it will happen.

Glad to hear all of you are moving through the last part of winter. I am struggling and it doesn't even get cold here.

Hey everyone! Just a quick drop-in for me! I am supposed to be out in the field with one of my appraisers, but our camera broke. Since it takes 30 minutes to get to the town we were appraising in, it didn't make sense to come back, get my personal camera, and then go back to finish our work. We'll just have to continue and rush through everything tomorrow.

Not much else going on. I've got some paperwork to do since the office is completely empty and then I'll head home to do some homework and housework. Hope all is well with you!

Hey chicks a quickie, finally had time to drop in, but it is almost snack time for the kids and then pick up time. DH has torn leigments(?) in his shoulder after a fall on friday. If it is not one thing it is another. Eating still terrible. Tonight I am making a food menu for the week. It is raining and windy here, as badly it has knocked my phone out. I can get calls I just can't make any weird weather. Well gotta dash the last wee one has come home from school so they are screaming for snack. Have a great day chicks.

I am going to manage to post in here today. I always put the daily off until I have time and some days, that time never comes. I'm in the office today and no longer on call. I was on call when I got paged at 2:30 this morning. I got back to sleep at 3 but my adrenalin was up too high after working the issue that it was hard to sleep. I finally got to sleep when the alarm went off at 6. At 6:30 I was waking Brian up when it went off again. Just a quick password reset and then I could get on with my day.

Tonight is a den meeting. The boys are supposed to work on the Engineer activity badge. If Brian gets this he will have every Webelos activity badge.
