Schmoodle Poor DS . Hope he is feeling much better today.

tkglenn Hang in there. I know how hard it is to think of anything else when your hurt and upset. The thing I kept telling myself was I was not going to allow him to make me so upset while he walks around oblivious.

Gonna I'm going to be checking in all day just to make sure you're O.K.

OK off to work for me. I'll try to post when I get back here today. Have a great day everyone.

Gonna-I've learned to leave his stuff there. He's one who doesn't like messes, I don't either but he's a grown man and I've got 4 kids to take care of so he can clean up his own messes. He also tries to teach the kids to pick up after themselves but how can he do that if he doesn't do it himself. So I leave it there and if he doesn't like it, he can pick it up himself. Lots of times there will be clothes on the floor for days. I won't pick it up anymore, I get too tired taking care of 5 children, 4 is enough.

tkglenn, you sound very down. This is for you:
Hope you can shake off the funk. My DH is pretty neat, but he does leave piles of stuff out that drive me crazy. I can't complain too much though because I'm one of the messiest in the house, but then I'm the one that does most of the cleaning so nobody has to clean up after me except me!

to Lori! Glad to have you on the beach.

Glad I could help in a virtual way anyway. Being a mom is a thankless and lonely job sometimes. We've all felt the way you do right now, I'm sure. I finally came to the realization that a spotless house is not worth a whole lot in my life. Now I just try to keep it clean enough to be comfortable, healthy, and not humiliating if unexpected company comes by. That's the best I can do right now and it's just got to be good enough!

morning chicks again I have tried to get here to post a few times. The girls are home as exams are over, they don't go back til wed. So my computer time is limited. But they are playing on the wii right now so I figured I would take 5 mins to get in here before lunch starts. It is sooooo cold here today. The kids are cranky and screaming. My two year old does not want to share. Fun stuff.
Eating is good. Dance class last night was a blast and we worked out hard. We have been working on our jazz dance. I can't remember the name of it but it is a jazzy song about a woman.
Well I have just about used up my five mins so I have to dash and get lunch ready and get then I can enjoy quiet time. I will try to pop back in.

G'morning everyone!

Schmoodle I hope your son is feeling better. Stomach bugs are the most annoying sickness. Especially for the moms who spend the middle of the night changing sheets and trying to keep sick kids from puking on the rug.

tkglenn Don't worry too much about the scale. I make it a point not to step on mine constantly when watching my diet. It's so frustrating to worry about fractions of a pound.

I'm the messy one with a neat-freak husband, so I'm sure he does his share of complaining about me. It's always one person or the other in a marriage.

Now, I'm sure I heard a mention of coffee. Can somebody get me a cup? A biiiiiiig cup.

T.G.I.F.!!

Jenny: It's nice to see you back! I'm so glad that DH has decided to join you on SB. Ever since my DH started eating healthier it's been easier for me to. Good luck both of you!!

Kara: Yay for you and your lack of pre-Aunt Flow cravings! Have a great day!

Cottage: Thank you for the update on Dear Ruth. I hope that little Audrey gets better quickly. I know your heart breaks when either of the girls is sick! Tell her to !

Cat: I agree with everyone here! You have some willpower to go into a place like that and not eat anything!! I know you family, especially your dear father, is proud of you. I'm sure he's smiling down on you.

Gonna: I'm so sorry that your face is still bothering you. You'd better enjoy your dinner tonight -- you deserve it!! Thanks for the coffee, I really needed it this morning!

Cyndi: I hope that you stay healthy, especially with your vacation looming in the future! You sound like you're going pretty crazy!

Dawn: I'm glad you got so much done yesterday!! Enjoy your easy day today!

Schmoodle: Tell DS to . I hope that he's able to get a lot of rest today. That may help you get all of the GS orders together! TGIF, indeed! You and DD better stay healthy!

tkglenn: All I can offer is a and let you know that I'm thinking about you. Hope things pick up for you soon.

, liamylime! I'm looking forward to getting to know you better!

Me: DH and I decided that with the rain and cold yesterday I would head to the store and get the fixin's for the Fireside Sausage soup. It was so yummy! I don't think I'll ever get tired of that stuff! Then, we watched the Spurs (barely) win against one of the lowest ranked teams in the league and caught a bit of the Dallas Stars game. I decided that I needed a take-it-easy night.

Tonight we're having the meatball casserole for dinner. We'll also be doing a super-speedy housecleaning so that the weekend is free for homework and such. We may try to catch a movie, but with my homework and DH having three leather-orders that need to go out Sunday, I'm not sure that's going to work.

Well, I'd better get to work. Have a great day!!

~Kim
