Cottage: I don't know what it is about the Autumn and Winter that makes me want to craft more, but they do. I guess it's the cold weather pushing me inside the house for a change!

Pacer: ! You know, I love the internet, but sometimes I think that we would be much better off not having it available at work. Of course, it all depends on the person, but I'd probably get double the productivity from my staff if there was no internet. They don't seem to be able to get off. I like a system where they can be on for 10 minutes and then can't get on again for an hour unless it's work-related. They seem to have to be on for an hour straight or they can't function! (Too bad boss-man tends to spend more time on his forums than anyone in the office. Not a good example!!) Hope it's a good day and "Don't Worry, Be Happy" It's almost Friday!!

Liannie: Hope you get all your to-dos done as well! Have a great day!

ME: (again)

Well I went outside to get my products and found out a box was missing! I called our local delivery company and he checked the truck and it wasn't there, so now I'll have to deal with re-ordering and making my customers wait. I hate it when stuff like that happens! It makes me look bad! On a good note, I've got my profits up and just opened my "web-store", so it looks like we'll be refurnishing the living room soon! I can't wait to get the Queen-sleeper in there! No more guests on air mattresses! I never thought I'd be good at something like this because I'm so shy, but the customers come to me. I haven't had to go door-to-door once! Gotta love it!

Well, time to go check on the staff and see what they're up to! Have a great day!

Can someone please tell me what kind of creamy dressings I can have on phase 1? I always eat blue cheese and ranch and just can't bring myself to eat oil and vinegar types. Thanks

Good morning ladies. or afternoon for some of you.

My job interview went well I think. Then the drive to the doc which went well too.

I believe I have piddled myself away the last two days. Yesterday made for a long road trip having to stop at every rest area along the corridor.

You can talk about Lucy all you need to Ruth. I understand how difficult this is as I have been there in the past.

DG was stirring in her sleep last night and poked me right in the eye when I woke up to see what she was doing. It hurts today, don't think there is any damage just tender.

Sending and to everyone who isn't having a very good day. And to all that are.

Karen,
We are allowed to have mayo and healthy oils, and milk, so you can make your own if you can't find a brand without sugar and other crap. I usually make a vinaigrette, but I have bought the Trader Joe's Goddess dressing, which is creamy, tastes pretty good and is "legal". I'll bet you can find a legal pre-made one though if you read the labels.
Blue cheese would be pretty easy to mix up with some mayo, a little milk, vinegar, and cheese.

Thanks for getting back to me. Can you tell me what to look for on the labels. I buy hidden valley light ranch as well and it has 7 grams of fat, 3 carbs and 2 sugars. Is that too much?

Hi Ruth,
I can't seem to find anything on the food list that says anything about salad dressing. Oh and by the way, I'm just doing South Beach now or trying too..lol

Here you go....it's under Fats and Oils.
Quote:
Mayonnaise - Low Fat - 2 TBS (avoid varieties made with high fructose corn syrup)
Olives (Green or Ripe) 15 = 1/2 TBS oil
Salad Dressing - 2 TBS. Use those that contain 3 grams of sugar or less per 2 TBS. Best choices contain canola or olive oil. Low carb salad dressings may also be used if they meet these guidelines.
Whew! For a minute there, I thought I'd lost it!

Thanks Ruth. We must have found it at the same time. I don't know why but I wasn't looking for it under fats. Thanks again. You've always been a big help to me.

Karen,
I love your avatar. The Pink Panther was a favorite of mine as a kid. I've been seeing more of him lately too. Maybe he's coming back into fashion!

Hi everyone. Let's see if I can get this off without losing it. I have done that 3 times already with other replys. They are out there in cyber space so look out for them!! I have a question about the dressings also. Is that 2TBS per day or meal or whenever I eat dressing? I have only been on the beach for five days and I seem to be doing o.k.
