Hi I am thinking of starting the South Beach Diet, I have never did this diet before and have a few questions. How much weight did you lose? and Was it a hard plan to follow? I have a book coming in soon so I can read up about it, I just would like to know from people who has been on the diet before! Thanks
Hey Ashley...I saw the "Matherne " and it caught my eye as a LA name!!
I'm also in LA..on the northshore. Planning is not that hard but important. We are very lucky here to have so much fresh seafood and great vegs nearly all year round..even eating out and staying on plan is easy...every restaurant here offers some kind of great salad or broilded seafood, so you won't be missing out!
I've been "on" SB since April and have lost about 30 or so lbs so far..down 3 sizes. I love it...and after a while the white rice and french bread and bread pudding is not so hard to resist....but I WILL be having my Gumbo on Christmas Eve.
I started on 7/2/07 and as of Yesterday I'm down 26 lbs. I feel great. The first three days as you can read from my earlier posts, I HATED IT. Now I couldn't think of doing it any other way.
Hi Ashley, I have been on SB since the end of January and I have lost 30 lbs so far. I really like this because I do not feel like I am on a diet it just a lifestyle of eating and their are so much available choices at supermarkets and restaurants now to stay on plan it is great.
