Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts. Yesterday was a bad day for me, and I can't get into my Neurologist till Oct Maybe I'll see if I can get into the Neurosurgeon sooner.
Still sending prayers up for everyone here. Please let us know how things are going and if there is anything to add to your requests. I have a new request and would appreciate all the prayers we can get:
BFF is in ER in San Antonio for complications due to her kidneys (she's been on dialysis for 3 weeks now). Docs are stumped and aren't sure how they will be able to give her dialysis as her "super-vein" used for dialysis is what the problem is. Her kidneys have already shut down. They are discussing surgery right now, but without a donor, I'm not sure why. DH and I are leaving for SA at lunch and I will be there all week. He will return tomorrow or Wednesday morning. Please pray for her, the doctors and us and others travelling to be with her. Thanks a bunch. Love you all and appreciate your support and prayers.
OK I told my friend Cassie I'd add her to the prayer list.....
She went to the doctor today for a regular pap/pelvic/etc and they found a tumor. She goes next week to get it biopsied and I guess they'll go from there, but she's only 20 and going back to school soon and I think she's scared to death. Thought I'd ask for a quick shout-out for her too.
Update on BFF - still in hospital. She has had three surgeries in as many days. Two have been to clean infection out of her fistula and the other was to put in a cathetar (sp?). She will be in hospital for several days and is not looking forward to it. I have to head back to Alpine with my family tomorrow. She really has nobody to visit her after that and I'm a little worried about her. Oh well. I think I've done all I can do!
Great thread idea, Weezle...you are SO special! I'm so sorry about your marriage, but I agree with Cat--these things happen for a reason and even though we don't always feel like it at the time, eventually God's perfect plans make more sense.
DH and I are working on our marriage as well--even though I totally wish no one else had any marital problems, it's comforting to know we aren't the only ones. Kiko, I hope things continue to get better!
Hello everyone, I will continue to pray for everyone prayer requests. Update on DD- Monday we went in and the Ultrasound showed that she passed the gallstone on her own so no ERP procedure.... Thanks for all the prayers she received. We have an appointment scheduled with Pediatric Surgeons on September 12th to decide if she has to have gallbladder removed.
WELL now I have another one. I'm really glad I started this thing now because I seem to have a ton of requests lately....
Baby brother (the one who hurt his back at work) got canned yesterday. Hmmm.... just now put those two things together. Anyhoo, he's freshly married and kind of freaking out and being down on himself about it, even though I think it's all bogus. They're ok financially for awhile, but he still really needs a job. Pray that God guides him and shows him which direction to go.
I thought this would be a good idea since we have so many chicks who do pray, and lately it's seemed that a lot of us girls have needed prayers and are praying for each other. Here's my prayer request:
Please pray for DH and myself and our failing marriage. For me, strength and courage, and maybe some comfort in there too.
Pray for Jessie that she has a safe trip to Brazil. (I think she's already gone or I would let her post that.)
Oh yeah, and for my little brother, Ryan, who blew out his back at work. Pray that it's just a sprain and no herniated disks or anything.
i'm praying...just curious... have you read love and respect we did a study on it at church and it made total sense...

Sigh I need some prayers! I have an appt on the 6th with the orthopedist for some hip problems that are coming to a head. I'm watching some abdominal pain I'm havin gon and off for when I see My WLS doc next month. . . if it comes back I'll be seeing him MUCH sooner!
and DH and I are efinitely working through some stuff so we could use some divine intervention slid out way
Me - I started PCOS treatment with the drug Metformin. There are some fairly serious side effects that have me a little worried and doing a lot of changes to my diet and activity levels. Please pray that the treatment will be successful and the side affects minimal. Thank you so much for all your prayers in all matters affecting our lives!
Update on BFF - She is home and resting. She will still have at least one surgery to go and has been put on the waiting list for a transplant.

I'm so sorry about your marriage, but I agree with Cat--these things happen for a reason and even though we don't always feel like it at the time, eventually God's perfect plans make more sense.
