Kim, ouchi-wa-wa, that finger sounds painful!
I'm sure it's upsetting, but there is so much they can do now to help with fertility. And sometimes, nature just takes care of it. My best friend tried for several years to get pregnant without success, and was considering adoption and/or fertility treatments when pow, out of the blue, she got pregnant. And, once things had started working, whe had two more kids in the next three years with no treatments. Just try not to stress too much over it, and we are all pulling for you!

Kim, My sister (22) just found out she has PCOS too. This is a book she found pretty helpful:
A Patient's Guide to PCOS: Understanding--and Reversing--Polycystic Ovary Syndrome by Walter Futterweit

It has really pushed her into trying to lose weight, which is great for her. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Busy day here...if I want to leave early tomorrow so I can rest for traveling Saturday I gotta get moving!!

Jessie

Thank you for all your wonderful thoughts and prayers. DH and I will get through this and your support is helping me already.

Jessie: I'm going to amazon right now to search for that book. I know weight loss is a big part of my journey and I'm really ready to push myself now.

Hi all!
I am dragging today. Usually I have a few minutes in the morning to check in but I couldnt get myself out of bed today...been sleepy all day, too. I'm not sure what that's about, so I'm going to monitor...perhaps FiberOne for breakfast isn't the best start to the day? Oh phase II is such an adventure.

I'm swamped with schoolwork -- I have a class all weekend long which, of course, I neglected to adequately prepare for. So i'll probably be checking the boards incessantly as distraction while I put together a project on childhood trauma. Uplifting. Trying to fit in a yoga class too...has anyone ever done 'hot yoga?' I think i'm going to give it a shot tonight. Sounds intense.

Cottage -- who is amber? have fun swimming, whoever she is!!
Femme -- see, hot days are good for the diet sometimes. i know i get to that point sometimes where it's just to hot to eat!
Ruth -- I can't believe your dog eats your glasses. Why?? Do you soak them in beef broth or something?
Little Chick -- at least if your clothes end up in OZ, you'll have an excuse to go shopping for new ones!
Ally - what do you do for work? sounds busy. also i just noticed how close you are to your goal. Ooh that must be so exciting!!
Pacer -- You are so close to goal too!! Inspriational!!
Schmoodle -- good luck on the hyperproductivity. I feel the same way.
bkstitch -- it's funny for me, hearing parents say how they'll miss their kids when they're away at college. Even when my own mom says it, i think, "but i am such a pain in the butt!!" i guess it's something only a parent understands!
weezle -- good luck with whatever you're struggling with. any simpsons fan is a friend of mine!!
Sand -- way to go staying on plan. it's worth it!!
Kim -- Ooh that's hard to hear -- my sister in law has that, I think. we're here for you!
Kiko -- wow, that is nice of you to babysit! good luck with dinner!

Have a great Thursday -- I'll be lurking around the boards for the rest of the day, i'm sure!! ah, procrastination!!

The pool was lovely this morning! I am getting quite the nice tan from running around after these kiddos.

I had to attach a few pictures.... this morning when I was on the computer, the rest of the house got awfully quiet. Megan had gotten into my makeup bag and has apparently watched me put my mascara on a few times. The picture is the result. The other is from a few weeks ago when Abigail lost her tooth.

Lucy ate my reading glasses! They were just el cheapos from the drugstore but really! She didn't crunch up the glass but the frames look like a dead spider!

Do you think I need a glass of wine with dinner? It's going to be the yummy chicken salad that Schmoodle posted in Phase II salads.

It is day 17 on SBD and i just gave way to eating non-sbd food. argh...i've had this box of White Cheddar Cheezits in my closet FOREVER (uneaten mostly because i don't really like them but bought them anyway) and as i'm sitting here, working on this project for school, i've got the munchies BAD. So I had a few bites of dark chocolate, thinking that TOM is coming and maybe that would shut up the munchie monsters...but, no...and I just had a few handfuls of Cheezits. Luckily, like I said, I don't really like them. I hope this doesn't turn into some out of control binge later.
