Oh Cottage- sorry to hear your day was so bad.
Kiko- what a cutie she is. Have fun with your homework. Me- my day turned out not so bad, the kids ended up making a make believe city with all the toy boxes in the play room which kept them entertained pretty much all day. That and a few movies. They didn't even want to do crafts and only begged 15 times to go outside of course each time it was downpouring. Well atleast there will be sun tomorrow. Tonight I went and had tea with two of my girlfriends which I have not seen in forever. We had a blast. Tea and chatting nothing better. Well good night chicks hope you all have pleasant dreams. |

Kara - Jillian Michaels was the trainer on one of the seasons of Biggest Loser. I was looking for workouts that had a bit more cardio built into the weight training part by incorporating compound movements using more than one body part at a time, like doing a static lunges along with lateral arm raises. It gets the heart rate up quickly and you move from exercise to excercise without a break, just resting between circuits. The workout is supposed to be 5 circuits, 30 sec. rest between each and then start again. Each circuit can have 4 or 5 exercises in it. I get through all 5 circuits and then do some cardio. Ruthie,sorry about the knee..I've had surgery on my knee,but
BUT ,NOT replacement..ouch..if the surgery can be scheduled in the winter..that's a good thing..crap weather,and you can read,and knit..the time will fly i promise.
Kara..great job..I use to run..wonder now if that's why my knee's got shot..now I walk. Welcome OCEAN..one of my fav.places ever. I am kinna proud of having walked every day (cept Sun.)for close to 2wks.now..plus Yoga 2xweekly. I'm closing in the end of the first week on phase one,and feeling great. DH is a pain in the butt,but hey...main thing I'm taking care of business including my health!...not letting all that :devil: get in the way of good self-care...life goes on. Made a great great dish tonight,but don't know where to post it..chicken with parmasan coating..yum. Take care chickies..we are going to get where we want and deserve to be...healthy,and slimmer. :hug:Choices~ |

It's been a long day and I am ready for bed. I am thilled tomorrow is Friday and the weekend is on the horizon. Only 6 more days until my vacation to ME. Woohoo. I hope to get on early enough to say a proper hello to everyone. Cheers! Sheila |
