Hello girls! Now I actually have a second to post (I'm typing up a recap for work before my two new hire orientations today.)
My physical therapist is trying to kill me. Would one of you girls come to Springfield to cut my arm off for me? I think that would make my shoulder feel better.... although it would be hard to set a volleyball. Today she was rough on me. I had to start with the arm exercise bike thing (no resistance) for 3 minutes, then did TWO sets of my exercises, tried new exercises, and she pushed me farther than she has thus far. By my third exercise, my shoulder was already fatigued and my arm was all wobbley.
Now let me rant just slightly about DH's fancy car thing. It was in the shop to be fixed because he was working on it and accidentally cracked the engine block by giving the bolt just "one more" turn. Davis. So it was in the shop for almost two months. He got it back yesterday after we shelled out $3500 (on two different credit cards) and drove it home. He pulled onto our street after a 20 minute drive and the brakes failed.
So he opened it up to look at it, and one hose had snapped off the engine, one hose hadn't even been re-connected to the engine, there was no coolant in it, a motor mount bolt that holds the motor to the car was barely screwed on, etc. So I had to call them this morning and fortunately they're going to take care of it like I thought they would, but still. DH could have died if his brakes failed at 70 MPH on the highway!
So I'm trying not to have a stroke, but through all of it, I haven't wanted a cigarette!!! One week, 39 hours, and 5 minutes smoke-free.... (not that anyone's counting.)
And I just got a call from my new boss. There's an emergency conference call for DM's to be on that the Vice President is having, and each DM can choose one person from their district to be on the call. He chose me! Out of 15 stores and 3 Trainers, he chose ME! WOO HOO!
So anyhoo, I need to finish this recap and get ready for the call. Have a lovely day girls! Sorry for typing so much. Just had a lot to say today, I guess!
