Default newbie!!

hey everyone!!

im new to this site, and to the sonoma diet. i am planning to buy the book this weekend. i have heard a general synopsis of it and it seems like my diet (very loosely) already follows the guidelines so i figured if i follow it more strictly and exercise, then those nasty pounds will come off!

im sure i'll be asking about a million questions so please bear with me. thanks for the support!

welcome teacher! I'm relatively new also and so far am very happy with it. The recipes from the book are quite yummy.

One thing to keep in mind, if your diet is pretty similar already then you probably won't have a big drop in wave 1, simply b/c you aren't radically changing things. I do think that following the guidleine though and adding exercise you will def loose at a nice healthy pace without missing out on flavor.

I sure hope to drop atleast a couple pounds in wave 1! Otherwise I;ll probably become unmotivated...blah blah blah. I really only have like 10-12 pounds to lose. Im hoping running will help. I just need to wake my lazy self up early. Thanks for the advice!

Welcome Teacher ~ I would almost guarantee you drop a few pounds in the first 10 days so long as you follow plan and get a little excercise in. I havn't heard one person on the forum say they didn't get a loss of at least 2-3 pounds. Stay true and you will be successful!

Hey teacher! I lost 6 and a half pounds during wave 1 and really, all in all, it was pretty easy! I need to change my ticker. I know what you mean about needing to loose, it certainly has motivated me to keep going for wave 2!! Good luck!!!!
