Default doing Wave 1 again

I've been sick with a nasty cold for the past week and still feel not-so-great. I didn't exercise at all, except for two short yoga workouts, and didn't make the best food choices, either. I ate canned soup for lunch several days, ate fast food a couple of evenings when I just couldn't cook (and both meals were yucky ), and ate almost my entire supply of dark chocolate. I haven't weighed myself, but I feel like I may have put a pound or two back on and am thinking about doing Wave 1 for just five days to sort of clean up my eating and get back on track. Any thoughts?

I too have been thinking about starting over. I havent been doing it perfect. The book says to start over if you need to to get rid of any sugar/white flour cravings. It wouldnt hurt to try it.

I am going to start wave 1 on Wednesday (sounds like a strange choice but have had a virus, and the appetite of many women so am giving myself 2 days to stick to the principles before being strict)

I think I need to start over on the 15th. My husband insists on taking me out for lunch on Valentine's Day to my favorite Irish Pub. So, if I do go, I will make wiser choices, I hope. Rather than fish and chips, I will select something that is more healthy.

Anybody else, worried about Valentine's Day goodies?

Default I'm not worried - my husband is a "health nut"

He's been known to dump half a cake down the disposal after a party. He's a bit of a food fanatic, but he does help me stay "honest."

I'm doing wave 1 for just 5 days because I figure that's all I need to clean up my eating. India, thanks for the wishes and I hope you feel better soon, too! Similar to Clareh, I was ravenous last week when I was the most sick and ate everything I could get my hands on.

I'm not worried about Valentine's Day. OK, I admit we're weird ... but hubby and don't usually do anything special. We've been married 16 years and try to be nice to each other all year. But we did stuff when dating and the first few years of marriage. Thin, your husband sounds great! Throwing a cake away after a party! A couple of weeks ago, I came close to tossing my hubby's birthday cake after the party but couldn't bring myself to do it. Please don't ask what happened to it ...

Talking

Years ago when I was a member of WW, our leader told us that we could eat all the cake we wanted! However, we had to rinse it under the tap water beforehand!

That really works.

Those of us who are starting over again on the 15th, should meet up on the 16th and let each other know how we did on that new start up day.

What do say, ladies? I know I need all the support I can get, to keep the evil calories from entering my mouth.

Happy V Day.
