After all the diets I've been on over a lifetime, this one is so easy.
I like everything on the pyramid and with the exception of a sugar habit, all the foods are easy for me to eat...

I'm an American mutt regarding heritage; however, my husband is Sicilian, Hispanic and American Indian on his dad's side and Welsh on his mother's.
He said he remembers his granddad eating this way and also his grandmother ate according to the Latin American pyramid (similar)...
I overeat. Period. He overeats things that should be treats on the pyramid, like red meat several times a week and not terribly well balanced.
But we're getting there. I'm only into it a few days and I feel better. My system seems to be cleaning itself out too

Guess the thread is moving a little slowly because this isn't some faddish, gimmicky, expensive "diet" but something that makes sense and just works well.
I also post on the Calorie Counters forum -- gotta get this fat offa me!!!
