Default Hello

Hello All,
I am new here and have a bit of weight to lose. I have done low fat in the past and have been successful, only to get pregnant and regain all of what I lost. I recently joined the low carb kick and although I did lose weight, I found that I gained it all back and then some (in pounds per day) if and when I ever cheated. I have decided to return to low fat/low calorie because I feel that it is the healthier way to go and I am way more successful at it.

It's nice to meet all of you.

I just gave up on Atkins, too, and back to intuitive eating. I take prednisone and that makes you pretty hungry but there is a gal here who lost 90lb on Atkins while taking prednisone. So it is possible.

Yep, me too. Looks like we're in the same boat, goal-wise and eating-wise...

Welcome! If you're looking for motivation and a group of folks to share in setting and accomplishing mini-goals, I suggest "Chicks Up for a Challenge" in the Support Groups forum. Lots of good stuff going on over there... but then again, there's a lot of good stuff going on everywhere here.
