Default What am I risking by doubling up on arms?

Hey guys, that bugger ubwo took me another hour this morning. Which is great when I'm into it, not so great when the tetanus vaccine is kicking on me. It just DRAGS more times than not.

So, what would I be losing by doing my tricep kickbacks and bent over rows simultaneously with both arms instead of one at a time. If I'm really careful of my form and not hurting my back.....is it ok? It's only 2 exercises I would be modifying, but by the time you consider the 3 reps of each, it's 6 things that I could be breezing thru by combining. I do 10 different exercises, 3 sets each of 15/12/10, so that's 30 xercises alone, plus more if I do them one arm at a time.

What do you think? Thanks.......

Because of the positioning of your body so that you don't fall over, it turns both into slightly different exercises. With both, you don't get the full range of motion that you would doing it one arm at a time, so you slightly limit the full muscle development.

However, if it makes the difference between getting it done or not, go ahead and do it! When you change things up, consider these different exercises. On days that you feel more energetic, you could do them one at a time. Otherwise go ahead and modify to make it work for you

Thanks Mel!

The lbwo today flew by as usual, so much so that I could jump on the treadmill immediately after. Had to ibuprofen the shot symptoms again today, but by the time I got off the treadmill, it got really itchy. Still hot and swollen, and has gone from marble size to golf ball, but I think that itchy is good at this point! So, I"m back on track, I think!
