Default New motivation?

So I FINALLY forced myself downstairs to lift last night. I was taking a planned week off but it turned into a week and a day and I knew if I didn't get my butt moving soon it would never move again. So grudingly I went down. As I was there I of course really didn't want to do anything I was going to do a very minimal workout. Well I had been to my niece's that day and tested her cocount body spray and as I started sweating last night it really started smelling like co****! Like I was out tanning (which I dont do but whatever) or on a beach, and then I pictured myself in a swimsuit and let me tell you, I got INTO my workout and did one of the best in awhile! So if you need motivation thats a great start right? LOL

Just had to share, and mostly I am proud of myself that I went down. I noticed tho I am goingto have to tweak my routine a bit, I am ONE getting a bit bored and two some of the stuff I used to do I have learned from reading on here or links from here aren't the best ideas. SO I am sure I will be looking for different exercises soon.

IM3B - good for you!!! A wise word from my cognitive behavioural therapy book: action comes BEFORE motivation... what is what you just experienced.

Quite often even if you don't feel like exercise, after you have done it for 5 or 10 mins you enjoy it. So the bottom line is that those first 5 or 10 minutes are not optional..they are a Just Do It kind of thing.

Stay at it and keep us posted!
