Default Monday, Monday!

What a weekend it was, it turned out to be one big eating fest! I fell off the wagon Saturday night with BBQ chicken & ribs, had pancakes for breakfast yesterday morning, and I won't even mention what I ate for dinner! Needless to say, my name is on the list for starting back on Phase 1 today.

I'm starting off with a good workout at Curves, then I'll come back and make some scrambled eggs with zucchini and onions. I'll be back in a bit!

Good Morning Chicks!

This could be the "weekend confessions page"! LOL

Lets see Saturday I broke down and ate a handful of jelly beans and then skim milk with chocolate syrup in it. Of course this was better than a milkshake.
Sunday, I just gave in and ate the potato casserole with the ham and the greenbean casserole, lots of fruit and baked beans and then key lime pie and a sliver of chocolate pie!!!

Someone tell me: If I'm not craving,... should I do phase 1.5 or if I really want to boost some weight loss... should I do phase 1?? I just don't get it sometimes. I figure that having sugar free fat free pudding would be better than the ricotta cheese dessert in P1. what do you think?

I know we can all get back on track today!!! At least here in Indy, it was a beautiful weekend!!

Morning everyone! I can't believe that I'm third to post today and it's already 715 here in Austin!

Cottage - Breakfast sounds delicious, good job working out in the morning! Monday is day one of P1 again for me too!

Want2 - Here we go P1 again! WHeeee!

Debbie - Doesn't sound like you did too badly at all! Try chips and queso, burrito in a white tortilla and chocolate covered strawberries? So delicious but so not what my body wants... I'm doing Phase 1 again more because I feel like I've lost control of my eating and I was feeling so in control... It's definitely your call and I think that Phase 2 is healthier in some ways because good carbs are definitely good for us...

And all the other ladies, obviously I'm trying P1 again, didn't cheat once the first 2 weeks, going to try it again for 10 days (up until my friend's bday pool party) and see how successful I can be, feeling pretty gross this morning after all that I ate yesterday, but atleast I am starting my morning off at the gym! I just need to get back under control of my eating, or if I'm following the 12 steps then I am powerless? Went to a really awesome Easter service last night and it got me thinking... hope everyone has a great day!

Hi ladies!

I tried very hard to be good this weekend and it worked up till last night when we had Chinese food. I was only supposed to eat my steamed chicken and vegetables, but ending up also having half an egg roll and a scoop of shrimp rice (which, honestly, if I'm going to cheat, is probably one of the number one things I consider worth it).

I'd even been really good at dinner the night before at Legal Seafoods, where I had swordfish, brown rice and broccoli, along with some steamed clams and mussels.

I avoided all Easter candy except for two jelly beans and two sugar-free chocolate wafer bars (they are really good, but still bad for me).

I'm looking to step up my exercising this week and avoid grains. I'll still keep my fruit, though!

Sarah -- I saw 715 in Austin and for a second, thought you jokingly meant the temp! I bet it's getting close to blazing (by my New England terms)!

Debbie -- I think you could do the Phase 1.5. The real point of the Ph. 1 is to get rid of cravings, so if you're not fiending for sugar, you could dispense with it.

cottage -- your weekend sounds yummy, if a smidge off plan. Good luck getting on track for today!

Hi want2!

Good morning Chicks!

I didn't get a chance to check in this weekend, but I hope everyone had a nice one. Ours was busy trying to visit both my parents and DH's. Didn't do stellar with my eating, but I feel I did okay. I want to cut back this week and do phase 1.5 for at least a few days until I feel in control. I ate what was was at dinner (potatoes, etc) and had a bit too much of dessert last night but I'm really proud of not getting into the candy. My parents & sister bought me a bunch of cadbury eggs (my favorite) and some chocolate cherry eggs. I didn't open them and brought them into work to give away today - yeah, me!

Cottage - enjoy your workout!
Want2 - have a great day
Debbie - I'm doing 1.5 for a few days b/c I'm really not craving. I think it's healthier and a lot easier for me to stick to if I know I can have that cup of cereal or piece of fruit once a day.
Sarah - good luck with P1
Sun - Have a great week!

Good morning, good morning...

Eating not so stellar for me this weekend either. I am back on the wagon today. I have 27 more days of school left and want to hit 160 by the last day of school. Very doable goal if I get myself focused and stay there!

It is supposed to hit 98 here in Dallas today. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a super day- I have a busy, busy week, but want to get back to posting at least once a day. It helps me SO much!!

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a relaxing weekend! I was sick most of the weekend. I made some poor food decisions on Friday and I don't think they really agreed with my system too well. So I was (ahem...) indisposed for a good part of Saturday and Sunday. Serves me right for veering ridiculously far off plan. I'm still kind of in recovery today. My goal for the week is to eat on-program and integrate in a bunch of veggies, which have been sadly absent (or nearly absent) from my diet lately.

Cottage, want2be, sarahslacker ~ Best of luck with the P1 restarts! I'm sure you all will be back where you want to be in no time.

Debbie ~ Those jelly beans get me every time! I would have given in too.

SunLit ~ Wow, you were a lot stronger than I was this weekend! Great job!

KellyJ ~ I'm glad that you had a nice weekend with the parents.

Schatzi ~ Lots of veggies for me too! I have been slacking off on eating those the last few weeks.

Kiko ~ That school year is coming to an end so fast...I don't envy that hot weather you're having. I think it's going to be in the 80s here in FL today but the 90s...YUCK!

Have a great day everyone!

Unhappy

morning!
Well my weekend was ok, I ate bad things on Saturday when we visiting friends, beer and a hamburger + the bun...I didn't have any candy, which is very strange for me...Cause I love, love, love, jelly beans. My son can't believe that I didn't even eat any candy..But I am back on track...

Very sad today! I had a 3rd interview lined up for tomorrow for that work at home job I spoke a few days ago and the woman called me today and said that they had a hiring freeze and the interview was canceled!!! UUGGGH!!
I am soooo upset! so me being me I am thinking that they just decided they didn't want me and it was easier to just say they had a hiring freeze....So I don't know what to do now...

Well like the common theme of the chat this morning, easter...lets not talk about it. I did manage to get lots of cardio activity in despite my bad food judgement. Have to crack down like everyone else I guess. Not much going on here, just working most of the day. I am making myself an appointment later to go on a run OUTSIDE. I know this sounds stupid but I am a gym bunny...all my running has always been on a treadmill. I like die when I have to run outside...I have no endurance for it, I think it is harder and I psych myself out. So I am going to take advantage of the beautiful weather lately and the great trail we have that runs along the river and get some me time in. Have a great day everyone!

cottage - hope your workout went well, new week new start, good luck.

Debbie - I would say if you are not craving to do 1.5...thats just my opinion though.

sarah - starting off at the gym sounds like the right foot to me! I know you can do it, 10 days no sweat right?

sunlit - Sounds like even though you were off plan there was not TOO much damage done. A couple of extra workouts and like you said ditching the grain for a bit should do the trick.

kelly - oh my gosh you have so much self control I love cadbury eggs as well and I am not sure if I would have been able to give them away like that.

schatzi - Food porn...you crack me up lol.

kiko - that is crazy hot! I hope that heat wave does not come to Colorado.

crk - Sorry to hear you were not feeling well, doesn't that make it harder to go off plan though...knowing your stomach won't be having it lol.

Good Morning Ladies

Had a very good weekend relaxing, watching tv with Leo and reading the news paper.Today I'm off this afternoon to play Canaster with a few of my friends.

Gee!! You ladies are up early.Wanted to sleep a little longer, but the sun was shining in our skylite bedroom window and woke me up. Have to buy room darkener shades.Hope they make standard size shades to fit the window.

Didn't do to bad eatingwise,had a few chocolates,and put the others away.Leo & I had a turkey T.V. Dinner each with extra veggies.Strawberry shortcake was the dessert[S/F pound cakes,strawberries & S/F whipped topping.]Stayed the same from Saturdays W-I.

Will post after I get back from the Game.

I woke up so very late! I guess no breakfast isn't so great but I woke up way too late to make anything. I'll stay OP for lunch and dinner though and then try and do better tomorrow for morning-eating. Boston is a huge amount of tourists and runners today. I'm traped inside my apartment unless I decided to brave Mass Ave and take my bike out. Which I might do, hit the malls etc.. I haven't decided. Tatsuya just got a new bike so he is pestering me to get out wth him.

I hope you ladies have a great day! I am off to find something to do to take my mind off eating fast food!
