Tanya, have you checked out
www.fitday.com ? It is a free tool that lets you log everything throughout the day. It lets you either customize meals or food items, or pick them from a list that Fitday has in its database. It is a bit confusing at first I think, but you may like it. I was hesitant to switch at first from paper/pencil to online but I found it kept me much more accountable. With paper/pencil I was "cheating" a lot and underestimating calories/portions. Looks like your count today is less than the top part of your range, so congratulations! Just logging everything is an excellent start.
