It definitely is I've been trying for YEARS to get this weight off. I want to get it off before I hit 21!! Which is almost exactly 7 months away. We'll see.

I too, have my goal set at my 21st birthday. Granted, I won't even be 20 until June...but hey. It's tough being 19 and fat, too! lol

We should start some kind of weigh in. It doesn't have to be necessarily a challenge, because I always fail those challenges. I can keep track of our losses or something like that, and post a chart every week. No matter whether you gain or lose.

What do you ladies think?

Great idea! I know my weigh in days are on Fridays...Do you all set a "end of week goal"? I do, but I can't decide if that's a good idea or not....

Well, I usually set some sort of monthly or bi-monthly goal...like my St. Patrick's day goal! And after that one, it'll be my April 1st goal...day of the concert in Chicago!!!

Ok, it sounds like Sundays, is that okay with you Cassie? I think it's inspirational to begin the week knowing what you are so you work that much harder.. you ladies can let me know your weights,(we don't have to be shy about our weights, we're all sisters here! hehehe) and I'll get the chart going this Sunday, our weigh-in.

Hahaham St. Patty's day is a great goal it's the 17th. You can definitely lose some weight by then!!

So far we have

I should get in on this but i'm late 20s...but i don't want to spend my 30s fat too! The idea of scale weigh-in's scare me. I hate seeing those big numbers.

That's what I thought about Sundays...start out a week with (hopefully) a good report! Helps me stay on track! Well, as you can see from my tracker, my highest weight on December 12, 2005 was 350, and I've managed to get down to 310 so far. I have no shame about telling people my weight anymore...oddly enough.

Hi fellow 20 somethings... I'm 22.... and I am really really bad at keeping up with the long ongoing threads.. But I'll definitely try to pop in and visit. I'm all over this forum usually.
