Smile new to site and would like a buddy.

Hello,

My name is Mary. I'm 28 years old and have 6 children ages 8 to 2 2 month old boys. before I got pregnant with them I was 224 lbs. Being only 4' 11" I feel like a huge blimp. During my pregnancy I lost 12 lbs then gained it back and went to 228 lbs. After the twins was born I lost 32 lbs and I was so excited that I wanted to lose more. Well I have had a set back. I have gained 4 lbs back. I know that doesn't seem to be alot but it has made me a little down and feeling like I won't be able to lose the weight that I so need to. So today I decided to start looking for some sort of support group and in hopes of finding someone in my same boat who we can cheer each other on and depend on that person for those down times that we all have. I love to talk, read, listen to music, spend time with my children. I love anything outdoors and just starting to get into scrapbooking. My new hobbie for this year is gardening something I haven't tried but for flowers and house plants. I'm really down to earth and a enjoyable person. I'm looking forward to being on this site with everyone here. I have a very positive attitude and think that this is what I could really be sucessful on. Well hope to chat with you all soon.

Good luck to you all,
may all your dreams come true!

Mary Greene

Hello Mary, I'm a 30 year old mommy of 17 month old twins near Cheboygan. Grew up in the Mio area. I was 232 pounds when I got pregnant, 284 at delivery, and after delivery was back down to about 242. Anyways, I am now at 266 and not liking it one bit I would say I don't know what happened but I do. It was my good friend Little Debbie. Anything to keep me awake when the little ones were up nursing constantly. We have a treadmill at home but I am sure you know what it is like to try and do something with both little ones at your feet. So I have committed myself to the local gym. At least their I can workout in peace, get a shower if necessary, and have some ME time. Working also on controlling portions as that it my BIG problem. Pleased to meet you and I wish you the best

Well first of all, I would like to thank those of you whose has replied to my thread. I have been just watching what I eat, walking, and trying to come up with an excerise program that is right for me. Everywhere I go now I try to walk as much as I can like parking the furthest that I can park and I walk my neighborhood. I'm trying to break myself off the pop which has been a big struggle for me, but I found myself drinking more water now and not so much pop. So that is my plan for now. I just keep changing everything and hope that it works. Best wishes to you all!! Mary

Hello! I just saw your ad and I'm new here too. I just posted an ad here last night and you can read it if you'd like. I'd love to be your buddy. I need some support for the weight loss and I'm also into scrapbooking. Maybe we could share a few ideas there also. Reply to this post if you'd like to be my buddy.

Water for pop and walking are excellent places to start. Continual tweaking is about what most of us do.
Did you find some threads that you enjoyed? Can we help you find some?
