Default Calorie Counting Works!!!!

I was a little skeptical starting a new diet, however I am seeing results .I have been calorie counting for 8 days now and I have lost 5lbs. Plus I have been doing aerobic exercises including jogging (until I hurt my knee 2 days ago ) but have started some other aerobic exercises until my knee is better. I am feeling really good this am and just wanted to share my good news with everyone. I want to also say that I have tried every diet out there and basically it comes down to like a lot of people have said on here...calories in vs calories out to allow the deficit for weight loss. I still have quite a ways to go but its a start and I am certainly feeling motivated. Also, thanks to everyone at 3 fats chicks on a diet...you guys are my motivation and support I need.

Candice, I agree. I cringe when I think of all the money I wasted over the years for WW meetings, Jenny Craig, and every new diet book that came out. I've gone back to basics - the only thing that ever really worked for me - counting calories. I use a simple calorie point system that is used for diabetics - much simpler than WW points. This makes counting my calories very easy and actually fun to do.

We have a thread that's called something like Calorie Counters KISS and the other daily thread for calorie counters is called Doin' it the Old Fashioned Way (sp).

I know what you mean. It has cost me at total of $19.95 for a copy of Fitday PC. Weight Watchers was $12 EVERY WEEK.

Between my blog and all the online forums I read, I have gotten way more free support than I could ever pay for at Weight Watchers.
