Default Beans?

Hi. Can someone please tell me if we can eat beans - black beans, pintos, chickpeas etc? If so how much is a serving? I am on gold but do not see it listed.

Thanks

i thought that beans were a protein, but then it also looks like they are a fat.

the purple plan says Vegetarian Protein
Beans, bagged, any type, cooked (2 Cups)

so it looks like some beans are, but now i wonder about Green beans? veggie or protein

Hey Monica, they are listed under Vegetarian proteins - on gold we can have 1 cup as 1 protein.

Dawn, I thnk green beans are a definately a veg! At least I use them that way.

Duh! I never even looked at the vegetarian options since I don't eat vegetarian <blush>. Thanks for your help!

PS: Green beans are a veggie. They are a string bean. ;-)

Wrigley - where did you see that beans could be a fat? Maybe I'm getting more blind?
