Hello! (i'm determined to use every smilie, no matter how inappropriate, in this post !)

I have been here before.

but i think that the last time I just wasn't ready. I would really like to have another go if you ladies will have me?

I really need some help... tell me where to begin and how to use this board to its fullest?

p.s. i think i'm a few smilies short!

Hello! Read lots of this forum, all the bits that apply to you, and some of the ones that don't! I like the maintainers forum (even though I'm not maintaining) They have a sticky of "best posts" at the top which are great and sciency so you can understand what's happening in your bod. Also the gals here are great and you might be able to find a more specific forum.

The best piece of advice that I've gathered from around here is never stop trying! Corny but true! Had a bad day? Start again. Had a bad month? Dust yourself off and keep trying! After all, you'll NEVER be a skinny minnie if you give up!

I'm not really sure. I refuse to use scales. a child hood plagued with eating disorders prevents me from using a scale in case i start being daft (to be honest thats quite unlikely - its probably more because my confidence would take a battering and i'd eat half my local tescos!)
I just know that I am not comfortable. I am about a size 14 and would like to get down to a 10/12... so around 20-25lbs?

that sounds impossible in my head... i can't drop 5 let alone 25lbs

no! this time I will. I'm not going to deprive myself. I'm going to work the 'moderation' rule. I'm going to keep up my exercise and just be very sensible. I am happy now but I have the potential to be happier.
