Default Newbie here, buddy needed

Hi everyone. My name is Quentella, but you can call me Quen. I'm a 31 yr old SAHM mom of 3 boys ( 9, 7, 4 ). I'm 5"0 and I don't know my current weight, since I tend to stay away from the scale. But, if I had to guess, I'd say around 140. I want to lose about 25- 30 lbs. I need someone to help motivate me. My husband really doesn't understand about weight issues, since he proabably only weighs 130 lbs. dripping wet. ( LOL, and I'm not kidding ) Once I get into a good regimen of exercising or dieting, I can lose the weight. But, keeping it off tends to be my problem. I own just about every type of exercise equipment you can think of. But, I hate to exercise. I haven't exercised in about 3 or 4 months. But, if I get into a good rountine of exercising several times a week, I do really well. But, if I slack off, it's all down hill from there. ( LOL )

I think my biggest problems are, not being active enough, eating the wrong foods and eating late . I tend to go through bouts of deppression every now and then and that doesn't help either. But, try living with 4 men and let's see how your mental state is. I never really had a weight problem before I had children or when I only had 1 child. I found that the more kids I had, the less active I became and the more weight I gained. Another thing I find I do is, eat what I feed the kids. If I give them chicken nuggets for lunch, I'll eat the same thing instead of fixing myself something different. I'm currently at my heaviest weight ( according to my clothes ). My weakness seems to be sugar ( ice cream and pies ) and carbs ( how I love thee ).

Well, that's my story. If you want to know more about me, please feel free to ask. Now on to the buddy. My buddy doesn't have to be in the same state. I want a person who I can e-mail or IM when I need some motivation. Someone I can e-mail, IM, etcetera and say " hey, what are cooking today " or " let's workout today ". Someone I can share recipes, snack ideas, exercise tips, you get the picture. Hope to hear from you all.

Question I will be your buddy

I am like you, a newbie. I am also looking for a buddy as well. I live in Missouri. I am in the somewhat in the same boat. I am looking to lose atleast 30 pounds myself. It is hard for me to find time to excerise since that I work 65 hours a week. I work 2 jobs so that is why that I work so many hours. The things that we have in common is that tend to eat the worng foods and not wanting to excerise. Those are my two biggets down fall. Recently my husband found out that he had to get his bad chelstorl down. Which in the begining we were gunho about trying to get it down. But it seems that I am not following my end of the bargin of the diet. In two weeks he has lost 5 pounds. I am so mad at him . But anyway I need some help at this. I am hoping that You will help me. Hi SammeyG, You're more than welcome to IM me. Just click on the " Y " under posts ( under my username ). I think when we're busy, we really don't think about eating healthy. Well, I know I don't. I go more for convenience. Oh gosh, you shouldn't have mentioned high cholesterol. I haven't had mine checked in years. But, the last time I had it checked ( at 24 ) it was kind of high. I guess that's not something they normally look for in women when were younger. But, suprisngly it's the #1 leading cause of death for women. Anywho, IM when you have some time.
