Talking September Chat

Cat - Glad to hear you're biking without the pain!

YP your downward trend will continue, I'm sure!

Did a new weights routine yesterday. Was lots of fun, and only short too. I like it then I kinda sorta fell asleep for the rest of the night while him indoors was packing. He is away for a week! WOOOHOOOO! House to myself! Early nights all round! (how sad am I??) I can't wait to get in at 9pm tonight and go straight to bed!

I finally got the outfit for the wedding I am going to later this month. I was really hoping to be a size 18, but I am a 20. But that's OK seeing as at the beginning of the year I was a very tight size 26!!!

I got a brown skirt, which is patchwork strips of velvet and chiffon in different shades of brown, with lace at the bottom (the one we found in Wallis YP!) and a light teal velvet v-neck top, with a beaded trim in the centre. I was going to get a wrap, but fell in love with a dark teal cardigan in Monsoon, it's a size 18 (so I nearly got there) and gorgeous, and I will be able to wear it for work in winter. I relented and went to Evans for the shoes, because my shopping trip was on Wednesday night and all the shoe shops were full of screaming parents and their tired children getting ready for the first day of school on Thursday!!!

I love the outfit, and I got a handbag at TK Maxx, which broke as soon as I got it home, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I Evans for shoes! They're sooooo comfy! Kyk, your outfit sounds lovely!

Got to bed at 10ish but couldn't sleep without him! Was quite from kickboxing though! I'm vowing to practise my back kicks lots this weekend.

Nothing much else to report apart from some idiot smacked me in the chin and really hurt my neck! He's the only one to actively hurt me in a year! He does it all the time! I'm going to refuse to fight him again cos he's too dangerous!

Frus, you could'nt sleep without him I can't sleep WITH HIM (mine not yours ) drives me droning on btw, go for the goolies

Well, i've actually lost some weight this week i've only been on track since Monday but its starting to pay off i'm not recording my weightloss though until the end of this challenge then i'll record the total lost.
Has anyone come up with a name for the new challenge? Are we going for one to end around Halloween/Bonfire Night? I think the time is good gives us a couple of months and yet its not to far away that we get complacent and think "oh..i've got loads of time yet so I can have this bag of chips" Right, its time to head off to HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

I can vouch for the fact that it's a very nice skirt

In a good mood today, a good win at the rugby and I saw someone I've not seen since April. She knew I'd lost weight but her jaw still dropped a little Plus I managed to sort something out at work that had been worrying me for a while, and it's Friday. No other reason needed to be in a good mood when it's Friday, really

I've been shopping. Ahem! Well actually you could call it a shopping binge!

2 pairs of trousers (for work) they are LOVELY! And while I was in the changing room, I found someone's stolen my bum! Where is it? I want it back, they've left me with this flat little thing that looks quite cute from some angles!

2 jumpery top things

2 books, 3 magazines, a CD for Dom's birthday, a necklace, some deoderant and erm, a slice of Apple Strudel... My proper treat for the day!
