S/C/G: SW:226/16st - about 50lbs lost

Height: 5'8"

Default Argh Help!

I'm nibbling! Nibble NIBBLE NIBBLE!

I've got too much food in my desk drawer! NOOOOOO!
Actually I'm quite hungry and I'm ready for my lunch! I'm starting to feel a little bit like I want to eat all the food I have RIGHT NOW! I've even got some stuff for after Kickboxing later...

Maybe it's cos I know I don't actually have that much with me to eat for "lunch" (bread & butter and 2 babybels... and perhaps a yoghurt and a few cashew nuts...). And I'm just a bit bored... Keep the nibbles away! Back you nibbles I tell you BACK!

But I do get a Mars bar later on, before kickboxing, so I'm looking forward to that! He he! I'm trying to save my lovely muffin thing for this afternoon's snack, so I guess I'll be ok. I just need something to occupy me for 40mins!

If they are light babybels you have to eat them in threes it's the law. What's with the mars bar eating? I nearly bought one yesterday I blame you.

The shop had run out of "light" babybels.. so I only had 2 normal ones... I usually eat them in 3s!

Mars bar = kickboxing fuel GRRRRRRR! Fast sugar rush for instant gratification! Plus a treat for working my arse off like a loon for 2 hours!

Isn't it great to be able to come here and keep your mind off the nibbles. It helps me a LOT coming here to read and write posts instead of sitting around fighting my inner demons telling me to raid the fridge.

Glad you didn't give in to the munchies 2frustrated!!!

Hugs,

Ammi

Just my thoughts (except not having had my breakfast...). Talk about mars bars is just making me think about the taste of chocolate far too vividly

Hi Cathy - what cheese do you use for your cheese on toast. I love to eat that, but found a lot of low fat cheeses are just foul when you melt them.

I had some weight watchers cheese (I think!) that was ok on cheese on toast! I think I remember having it over marmite... but it does go quite plasticy!

Alternatively, just have full fat cheese but grate it very thinly over your toast!

My skinny rake fiance has 1/4" thick slices of cheese on his cheese on toast!

Oh doesn't it just make your blood boil lol when your other half can sit there and stuff themselves silly and not gain a lb, yet we just look at what they eat and we put on a lb lol. My hubby actually could do with losing a bit of weight, and he is kinda dieting with me, but even though I put more effort into it, you can guarantee if I lose a lb, he will lose 5 lbs.

Hugs,

Ammi

Hi Ammi, I just used regular cheddar cheese but only had 15g..3 slices cut very thin..just enough for one slice of cheese on toast the cheese has 60cals and 5g of fat in that little bit thats why I only had that its only recently that i've started eating cheese..I hated it all my life then someone got me to eat hawaiian pizza (another thing I hated) and i've been eating it ever since I can't eat much though and I certainly could'nt eat a thick piece but I don't mind a little bit now My hubby eats like a and does'nt gain a pound he has a bit of a beer belly but the rest of him is skinny when he comes home at night he does'nt stop grazing until he goes to bed..the other night after his dinner he had 12 oatmeal/raisin cookies..12 wagon wheels and half a dozen ice lollies and a big bag of crisps I don't know where he puts it..I really don't

Hi Kathy, well one good thing about having a hubby that grazes like that, is that there shouldn't be much left for you to be tempted by lol. Thanks for telling me about the cheese, I am fancying cheese on toast now, or a nice big hawaiian pizza, mmmm. Can't believe you went so long before being introduced to the delights of cheese. Shame it's so fattening though huh.

Hugs,

Ammi

Hubby laughs at me I even weigh my cornflakes I have one of those add and weigh scales and its a godsend one of the best contraptions i've ever bought Ooops sorry i've got you fancying stuff that was'nt my intention anyway its too late for you to eat now so DON'T DO IT

Oh don't worry lol, I am doing so good this week that although I would love to eat a nice pizza, even if I was offered one I would say NO, lol Now how long this saintly behaviour will last I don't know. But so far so good.

As for weighing food, yes I agree with you there, if you underestimate a bowl of cereal and eat that for seven days then you will end up going way over your limit, so yep, weigh, weigh, weigh.

Hugs,

Ammi
