Look I did it!!!! Arent we proud

Anyway, now for my updates......

Did the Curcuit today. I know that I am getting better because today I did it with 5# weights... (started with 3#).... Walked the dogs this evening. Still had a rough time with my eating.... do really good in the morning (Yogurt and Cottage Cheese) and lunch (tuna sandwich) it comes to at night that I get bad. Had great intentions and then I just blow it... Oh Well.... Tomorrow is a new day.

WWGAL - Good Luck on the Program... Knee or any joint injury are bad things....Take it slow and easy... you can on this program... that is why I like it....

You asked if I had lost any weight so far and I am down 3 1/2# since I started.... I did real good the first week in doing it everyday... but this week I got off course alittle so I am starting fresh again....

CBC - Welcome to the group!!!! I have been doing Power 90 for 2 weeks and I like it so far.... First time in forever that I have stayed doing it (although I wasnt so good this week). Let us know how you like it....

ROSE - Did you see I started the new thread? Arent you impressed. I am the computer illiterate.

You asked about doing it with Sparks and that is what I am going to do. For example this morning I did the Curcuit (Weight) Video this am.... It is 30 minutes long but I only consider it as one session..... Then I walked this evening with the dogs at a rapid pace (they werent appreciative). That was 15 minutes.... I counted it as 1 session. Tomorrow I am going to do the Cardio in the am.... Pilates (I have the machine which I love) for stretching for 20 minutes in the afternoon and then walking the dogs in the pm.

From what I can tell Sparks is basically working out for short intervals at different times of the day to increas the metalbolism. I think this is doable. My hardest workouts will be the Power 90.... but none of the workouts are more than 40 minutes (at least on the level I/II) so I dont mind doing that in the morning and then coming up with 1-2 more 10+ minute workouts....

Anyway, let me know how everyone is doing.....

On different days on am sore in different areas.... I have been sore on my sides when I stretch real long...

I did the cardio this am... I am having a hard time with the power yoga section of it... I am not sure if it is that I am not all that flexible or if it is the hip area of mine that gives me problems.....but going from the dog up pose (or whatever it is called) to the runners stretch pose is real hard for me....

Hi Ladies!

Good job Angel! You did it! I'm so glad you started a new thread. The other one was way too long.

Okay this will be super short because I've been so busy at work I haven't had the time to post much lately. I will try to post more later and answer your questions about the eating plan Bev! I'll break out my Spark book and make sure I know what I'm talking about first!

Okay I have to go for now but I'll be back later. You are all doing so great with your programs. I'm hoping to buy the Power 90 program too. It sounds great.

See you all later!

Default Joining you all!!

Hi,
I just started Power 90 today!! i actually finished 10 minutes ago. i bought it because I am at the end of my weight loss journey. i have lost 40 pounds and I need serious toning and what better way then to work out with weights and cardio? This doesn't seem like a scam because it involves weight training, cardio, and eating correctly. That is the way to look and feel good. No pills or weird machines. So, I'd love to hear from you all and hope we can do this challenge together!!

Fran

Hey Fran- Welcome to the group.... I have been doing Power 90 for about 2 weeks now.... not everyday unfortunately, but I am working on that. I have really enjoyed it though. The hardest thing for me is the power yoga section at the beginning of the Cardio Tape. I am still doing the first tapes I/II. I can tell a difference though in my endurance and strength... Well good luck to you and keep us posted.

Hey Rose good to see you again. Pull out that book and let us know.... I have been trying to do seperate workouts through out the days. I havent gotten on the scalesyet this week to know if I am improving weight wise but I will let you know.

Anyway, how are you doing WWGAL? Are you still making a go of it?

Talk to yall soon...

Default I Lost 2.4# This Week!!!!!!

Hey All!!!!

Just had to let you know that even though I havent made it everyday on doing the tapes and that I havent been religious on my eating I still lost weight..... Goes to show every little bit counts.

I do think that the Sparks Program is also helping.... it is easier for me to think "Well lets just go on a 10 minute walk" than lets workout for 45 minutes.... so I do think I am getting in more exercise than before....

WWGAL- Just keep doing what you can... dont overdo... I do honestly think that a little is better than none.

Talk to you soon

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick post to say I'm still here but have been so busy that I haven't had time to post. It sounds like you all are doing great on the program. I can't wait to get mine. I'll use Spark with it like Angel is doing because I think it will keep me going knowing that I only need to do 10 minutes of exercise at a time. I agree with Angel that when you start out thinking "I have to do 45 minutes of this" there is a good chance you won't start at all. And once I get started I do end up doing more then 10 minutes. Usually. So anyway I will pull out my Spark book tonight and get back with you on the eating program. If I find anything real important I will scan and send this to you too if you would like. I need to go though work is calling again! Take care and keep doing those awesome workouts!
