OK, hope this helps. Hope you have a pair of food weighing scales too.
1 ounce of meat = 1 ww point (cut any fat or skin off)
3oz potato= 1 ww point (if boiled, cooked in fat free spray or baked)
All veggies are free except, corn, peas, corgettes, swede, turnip and parsnip. 1 cup of these usally eaquals 1 to 2 points.
Raw carrots are free, but if cooked, they cost 1 point cos of the sugar.
I drink skimmed milk for my cuppa's and 1 cup costs 2 pts a day
You say there's not much low fat food there, how about yoghurts? Now I did buy a yog here a few weeks back and it said LF, but when I totted the points up, it was FIVE POINTS!!! And the usual ones that I eat are only ONE!
I hope I have helped, I think you'll do just fine, especially if you consume loads of veggies to fill you up. That seems to work for me, and I've been very slack this week and need to get back on track............rolling pin please Cat!
