Thumbs up New and Want to Improve!!

Hi All,

I am new and I'm ready to improve my life by losing this extra weight! I am married and I have 2 sons 6 and 20 mo. I am also a stay at home mom and I baby-sit. I currently weigh 205 and my goal is 160. I love the way everyone is so supportive and encouraging. I am starting my new way of eating today!
I look foward to talking with you all.

Hello Sara and Julie. I am Gabrielle and have one daughter (17 months). I am around 155 (Monday is my weigh in day) and would like to lose 30 lbs. What are you both doing to lose? Just wondering. I am doing lots of exercise and eating healthier meals about 3 hours apart. Nice meeting both of you. hope to hear from you both soon.

Hi Julie and Gabrielle, Sorry it has took me so long to reply. I have been busy. I am currently at 207. My body has been messed up here lately. I started a new birth control pill Alese, and on my 3rd pack in the first week I started my period. So I quit them and haven't been on anything else. But I'm not saying that's the reason for the 2 lb weight gain! I haven't been following my diet and I need to get motivatied again. I am a stress eater!! When I get stressed I eat which is most of the day because I babysit!! I love to exersize when I find the extra time and I feel that it does help me in losing weight. Just have to get the eating right thing down and stay with it. Well I have gabbed enough. Talk with you all later.

Hi SARA nice to hear from you I think we all look for a reason for why we gain weight my excuse were I lost my dad 3yrs ago at the same time my second marriage ended so I comfort ate I met my third hubby about a month later boy am I a gluten for punishment so anyway I,ve been yoyo dieting for the past 2yrs telling myself it,s contentment when in actual fact I just like food all the wrong stuff of course try to stay focused and when tempted to eat out of stress ask yourself do you really need the biscuit or what ever how will it make you feel in the long run better or angry and guilty because you gave in well that,s it for now bye Blessed Be JULIE

Hi ladies, just joined the site today and am loving the encouragement everyone gives each other. I'm 45, a mom who works away from home and has a husband who was diagnosed with Parkinsons 5 years ago. Since then I have gained over 35 pounds, 14 just in the last 8 months. I weigh 183 pounds and my goal weight is 145 to 150. I have loss weight on Weight Watchers before, am even a life member but fell off the wagon. Well I have decided its time to get back on. I MUST be healthy to take care of my family. Right now the extra weight is causing everything to ache....
No fun:
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and supporting each other. I know we can all reach our goals.
Have an awesome day!!!!!

Yabbut, saying I lost 3 pounds this week sounds better than saying I lost 1.25 kgs.

Default Getting There

Hi You Guys,
Though I was going to give it a try today, wouldn't you know lunch was provided by the office. Didn't do too bad, baked chicken, correction DRY baked chicken, but it worked. I plan to hit WW in the am, my first weigh in since about 8 months ago. The extra 14 pounds could be a shocker, but I already know so only concerned with the look on our directors face. Not really, they are really supportive. My husband HAS to quit smoking and promised to do so starting Oct. 1st. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY FAMILY. He has been smoking for about 55 years. WOW seeing it in print in a trip.... This too shall pass.
So excited for those of you that made progress this week. You ALL are true inspirations. Looking forward to hearing more and having my own progress to report.
Enjoy your Friday,
