Cool Inner Arm? Injuries

Ok this is the second time I've done this. I've injured the inside of my elbow, if that makes sence. Like when you bend your arm, in the crease.
A bi's workout did it this time, but something else (can't remember what) provoked it last time.
It is EXTREMELY painful. As in, can't straighten my arm at all, I keep it completely bent as if it were in a sling. Obviously, I won't be working out tomorrow and I'm pissed about it. I thought about just cardio, but really, if I had to reach out to balance myself I'd probably scream in pain. lol
It's also very sore just to touch, as DH hubby just found out when I yelled when he hugged me.
Anyone done this? Last time it took a week or so to heal if I remember right. Like I need a setback at this point! Grr

Oww.. (Not a medical professional; take with a grain of salt.) Sounds like tendonitis -- the area you are describing is where the biceps insert into a tendon that connects to the bone. Ice, NSAIDs (advil, aleve, etc.) and don't move it. An actual sling wouldn't be a terrible idea; it would help to remember not to move it.

Maybe one of our trainers and or medical professionals could weigh in?

Yep, sounds like the lower bicep tendon, but note the discalimer in my siggie.
Rest, Ibuprophen, Ice, Repeat. If it last more than a week, see a doc.
Hope you feel better.

I think you guys are right for sure. Ugh. DH just circled his hands around my forearm and squeezed, it relieved some of the pain and I could straighten a bit. Then he let go and I SCREAMED! lol Bad DH.
