Default new here looking for a buddy

I am new here to the forums, I have been in this site alot but just joined yesterday. I am looking for a buddy. I have tried everything out there to lose weight but never able to stay on track for any length of time. I have finally made the decision to change my habits and get healthy for good. I want to be able to keep up with my children. I am a little dicouraged because I posted here yesterday and recieved no answers. I thought that I would give it one more try!

Dear Skinnyon the inside,
Don't get discouraged,this is a battle that is so difficult but with support from a group makes it a bit easier.
You have taken the first step by reaching out for a buddy and I know I need the support of others too. So if you want we can begin to cheer each other on. Others may join us as this thread goes on. I hope so.
Like they say,today is the first day of the rest of our lives so lets try together to get thru this day staying on program and we will worry about the rest and how much we need to lose at a later time.

good Luck and hopefully this will be the day to get thru and we know we don't have to do this one again. Nothing feels as good as success. Wishing you the best. Soready

Hi Skinnyontheinside - Welcome! I just joined this site recently and it's been a lifesaver as I keep saying over and over again. I find it so hard to keep on track with the kids at home and all the temptation so I've been logging in whenever temptation hits to get some great ideas and share my ups and downs. I'll check in on your thread to to see how you are doing.

I must say that after two weeks of slowly getting started I feel so much better. I'm counting calories and trying to exercise once a day or as often as possible.

I know we can all do it as so many on this site have. Take care.
