Default Can I boroug some will power for the next 6 days???

Any Idaes to stay on track. I have problems staying on track when the husband is home & he is on a weird scedual 8 days on 2 days off 7 days on 4 days off.
the next 7 weeks he has vacation and he's working 6 & has 6 off then works 6 has 3 off, working 6 & has 6 off then works 6 has 3 off works 6 has 6 off. then will be back to his reg scedual.

Anyway when he home I don't seen to have as much control over what & when I eat. busy doing everthing. We stop a minute and grab something to eat and it not always the best thing and I know it. ALSO I FIND IT HARD TO WRITE THE CALOIERS DOWN, AND KEEP TRACK SO I EAT MORE. & I don't seem to have my self control.

He has been not eating anything after 7:00pm to help me at night. + he wants to lose some to but he thinks just not eating after 7:00 will make you lose weigh. "IT SEEMS to be working for him" . But I need more, very frustateing for me.. Last time I remember eating anytime if I had the calories left. But he gets on me about eating at night, so We haven't been eating at night. More for him I don't think it makes a difference to me.

Also I don't use my DDR when he home since when I'm not helping the tv seens to be always on. and we only have one.

some one use the rolling pin and make me get on that stepper.

Thanks

I'm looking forward to having him home.

Heya
Just looking at your fitday thing unless you're not adding everything on you should really be eating more 700 calories is below starvation level and it makes your body conserve fat. i think 1200 is OK and under 1000 is starvation level. Maybe if you're not oo harsh on yourself it will help. If you eat something bad don't write the day off just carry on as normal. Anyway that's my opinion.

I'm writing everything except drinks. try drinking mostly water but have one gatorade 125 calories. & once or twice a week will get a icee or a slushie. found the calories on the Icee but can't find it on the pepsi slushie.
I'll write it down as a pepsi soda.
I will try to start writing drinks down too. To get a better idea what true calories are but I figured around 800 is without drinks.

So should I be eating the 1200 calories even if I'm not hungry??

I have been eating only if I feel hungry.

unless its at night then I don't because of the husband.

I was losing 1/2lb a day except yesterday I gain 1/2lb back

Sally you need to eat at least 1000 cals a day. Your body will go into starvation mode and it will get harder to lose actual fat from your body. You will lose muscle and your body will store the fat.

This is a guide to the basic cal amount you should eat at different weights just for your body to function normally (before you take in to account exercise or any movement at all etc) (stone = 14 pounds).

20 stone 1880 calories
19 stone 1825 calories
18 stone 1774 calories
17 stone 1723 calories
16 stone 1671 calories
15 stone 1639 calories
14 stone 1586 calories
13 stone 1532 calories
12 stone 1480 calories
11 stone 1427 calories
10 stone 1374 calories

Sounds like it will be fun to have him home. Like you I find it hard when around my partner. I think that we need to remember the rule 'you can only eat if you have time to prepare proper food, time to sit down and time to clean up' ... I have been trying to stick to this and it seems to be workign mentally!
Enjoy the time and log on if you get stuck! you can do it.

Why only 10% from fat? when the RDA is 30% even that seems extreme to me don't mean to criticise but where are you getting your information from?

RDA is BELOW 30% my info is coming from "The Complete & Up-To-Date Fat Book" & "Carbohydrates Calories & Fat in Your diet Food"

They say fat is needed. They recommend 15-25 grams a day. Still below 30%

But if I eat that much my gallbladder let me know it. I feel sick and my upper back hurts. I just feel horrible. If I keep it under 10% I feel better.
Even feeling this way somehow I keep eating.
After the attack I think the pain would keep me from eating stuff like chip (they really set me in an attack) again. But it doesn’t.

Hey there

Instead of restricting how many calories you have and starving yourself, why not still watch your calories, but eat very carefully and healthily? ie. fruit, vegetables, as little carbs as possible. You'll be fuller, and with more calories to spare rather than "wasting" all those pointless calories on fast food and sugary things, such as the cheerios you mentioned.

Hope I helped some!

Hey sallyjade

I think maybe you should have your gallbladder checked out. Especially since you find it hard to eat the RDA of fat.

My mum had millions of gallstones out last year - they put her on a fat free diet till she had the operation! She feels much better now and doesn't get any indigestion any more.

Maybe you should pre-prepare some healthy meals to eat with your man then freeze them before he gets home, so it only needs a couple of mins in the Microwave (not too much work there??) and voila a healthy meal for you and him with no slaving away over hot stove!!?? If he doesn't like to see you work - get him to do the washing up!!

Chicks Rule!

Take care

Jen
