Red face I think that I goofed!! Phase 1

I think that I may have goofed! I am a newbie to SBD, on day 2 of Phase 1. Anyway, I made a really great recipe off of here and I used regular canned mexican tomatos, then i looked at the dietary facts and saw that there was 6 g of sugar, was that a major no-no?? Am I still okay? Is there a substitute if you can't find SF item when cooking, such as tomatos? I am sure that this sounds dumb, I am just really trying to follow the rules . TIA!

You need to check the ingredients and make sure there is not "added sugar". All foods pretty much have a "natural sugar" content. If the only ingredient listed is, tomatoes you should be okay.
I just took a can of tomato paste from the pantry and the only ingredient is tomatoes and it has 3 g of sugar listed. That is just the natural sugar in a tomato

Yes, it's the sugar in the ingredients that we need to watch for. The nutritional breakdown shows the fructose.
