Question mind if someone from the usa joins you?

I heard this is the best board for low fat advice.

I'm from Pennsylvania (PA)
I'm 5'7"
current weight is 170lb
Goal weight is 125.

main source of exercise is ddrmax2 a playstation 2 dance game.

I'm just started a low fat, high carb 'way of life' I love my starches so much.

1200 cal "10% or less from fat" 117 fat calories 13.0 grams fat or less.

(I used this method before and got down to 120lb from 185lb in 97) at 120lb my husband said I was getting too thin! so I tried to level off. Then I don't know what happened. Well true is I do, I started falling in my old ways no excerise, eating lots of everything. In denial "I was never that big & wasn't going to gaining it back"

Also I'm not very computer chat able (meaning I don't quit get all the lettering YET) like cw? current weight I'm guessing. Sw start weight? but I'm a quick study. I just might have to ask if thats alright? or is there a list of some of their meaning?

I wouldn't be able to visit everyday but will try as often as I can.

hope to join you.

Hi Sally, welcome, we don't mind who comes in for a natter love. Where in PA are you? I'm in NJ! So we're practicaly neighbours
You sound like you know what you're doing with your plan, we're all a good bunch in here and we try to help each other through anything, especially the bad days we all have, so shout when you need to be hit with a rolling pin or something, we'll be happy to oblige

thanks, superwitch & BritinNJ.

I may need that rolling pin someday. I heard a cast iron pan works good too.

I live real close to Bloomsburg, Danville. Have you heard of any of these towns?

Hi Sally We don't have any cast iron pans here so you'll have to make do with this when its required

Hi Sally,

Im formely of Dayton, Ohio myself. I have lived in England for 18yrs. Like you, I am new to the 3 Fat Chic site but it seems to be a great place to hang out.
I am curious -

1200 cal "10% or less from fat" 117 fat calories 13.0 grams fat or less. . . . .

What does that mean? Are you counting calories, carbs, or fat?

I'm counting calories & fat calories which is the 1200 I'm suppost to have under 1200 calories
out of those 1200 calories not more than 10% of those calories are supost to be from fat 117 calories or "13.0 fat grams". 13.0 x 9 = 117.0
because ever 1 fat gram = 9 calories

formula is calories x % divided by 9 gots the fat gram intake one can have.

I found it in the complete book of fat
