Question Short Term Goals - How do I get started?

I've been thinking about the short term goals. I am new on the South Beach Diet and wanted to know what are some healthy short term goals. I'm not sure I really know. I would greatly appreciate anyone's opinions and help!

Do you mean weight loss wise? If you just started SBD, you will probably lose 3-10 pounds in the first 2 weeks. Some of that will be water. If you have already been on a diet, you will lose on the lower end. For weight loss goals, you generally don't want to lose more than 1% of your body weight each week. More than that is lean muscle and not fat. Your goal is to lose just the fat. Is this what you are asking? Hope it helped!
