Default need someone to keep me motivated

I'm a single dad and live in the Ventura County near Los Angeles. I need someone to keep me going. I weigh 250 and need to get to 165-170 or so. HELP

Default Hang in there

My husband and I are struggling with our weight also. Keep your head up. DOn't be too hard on yourslef, none of us is perfect. Take things one meal at a time, and make small goals. Do it 10 pounds at a time and reward yourself with a new shirt or music when you reach that 10 pound goal, just don't reward with food. Then go for the next 10 pounds. and so on. ANd pray. Now GOd will not remove all the weight by performing a miracle, He can but won't because you will not learn anything, but pray for the grace to WANT to lose weight and then pray for the grace and courage to see it through to the end. i also hope to find encouragement...
i hope i can be part of that for you. there are so many good things to look forward to.....taking pound by pound off..................i let myself dream about those things, because....they *are* going to be real for me, and when think about them i get a new bolt of energy to keep going. i dont like to waste time dreaming and thinking about things that wont come true.....but this? We *can* make it be so. Sit back and think about things you want to do, people you will want to meet, going to the beach, going on vacations, asking that 'hottie' for a date..... =) see? losing weight can effect almost everything.....attitude, work/your business, hobbies, vacations, even making a cup of coffee. im serious! ever trip over something or knock something over just because you are overweight? Me, TOO! instead of fretting about that, and it IS worth fretting about...its embarrasing even if no one is watching.........BUT.......turn that into motivation...of saying your last good-byes to all those things that you hate about being over-weight, everytime you experience one of them. Lets say GoodBye to that stuff on us, thats controlling the real us! We've had enough! "What is this weird stuff all around me? Hum.....i have to get rid of this, ......its controlling my GREAT LIFE!"
