Default salad dressings

Could someone please tell me if store bought salad dressings are allowed on Phase I?

I think if it is below 3 grams of sugar, it is ok. I use Kraft Free Ranch dressing, which has two grams of sugar. I think it has about 10 carbs in it, so I'm not 100% sure it is legal.

Diamondgrrl has is exactly right. As long as there are 3grams of sugar or less, you can have it! I have used Pfeiffer brand (which is so good!) and found a lite chunky blue cheese in the produce section that is good too. Annie's Naturals makes several with no sugar, and there are also some great organic ones. I had trouble finding any Kraft ones that I liked, but there was one Caesar dressing by them with no sugar. A lot to choose from, and they are all okay on Phase 1!

We bought Good Seasons -- and then threw away the packet We added olive oil and fancy Pinot Grigio vinegar in the cruet. Yummy!

I use New England Greek dressing. It's a little high in fat because of the olive oil but very low in sugar. And since I've been eating more middle eastern food, I usually have a small greek salad with fat free feta.

There are some of the Newman's Own that are low sugar, too.
