Default Hi, Honeys, I'm HOME!

*VOW models her new bandaid scars*

No gas pains, no nausea, no headache....I don't feel like climbing Mt Everest, but I'm not doing bad at all!

The clear liquid stage isn't intolerable...YET. I do love Jello now, LOL!

My surgeon recommended stopping my diabetes med (YAY!!!) and taking my blood sugar readings every four hours. So far, GREAT!!

I'm off to the printers to get new return address labels made:

Wow VOW (I've been wanting to say that!)

Congratulations! It is so cool that you're on the other side - hanging out in that wonderful place known as Bandlandia. Remember to take it easy and that the first six weeks are for healing. You can climb Everest after the six weeks are over, okay?

Please, please keep those of us hoping to join you soon informed of your progress. I'm so happy for you.

Default vow wow

I'm glad your home and doing well.

I'm haven't posted since Oct, but I try to read most of the time. I'm scheduled for surgery on 3/18 god willing if I lose the required weight needed for wls. I need 10 more lbs and that should do it. The Dr. wanted 20 off prior to surgery and I keep yo yo-ing these 5 lbs. I hope I make it and not blow it. I've cut out carbs and am doing lean protein and veggies only now since january.
Any suggesstions to get 10 off in a few weeks.
You guys are great

You can also boost the "goodness" of Slimfast with protein supplementation. I bought my soy protein isolate at www.bulkfoods.com MUCH cheaper than any other source online. Put a spoonful of Benefiber in as well....kick it up a notch, like Emeril says!!

Welcome home VOW! Just think, shortly, you can get another one of those bandaids and you've got yourself a bathing suit! How exciting is THAT?
