Default Yates Wine Lodge - Atkins

I was in town today and I noticed a big sign outside Yates Wine Lodge saying "ATKINS MENU NOW AVAILABLE" it also said that they had lor carb beer.

Not sure if this is a national thing but thought that people on Atkins might find this info useful.

I never drink beer. I occasionally will drink half a lager and lime but only about once a year. I much prefer alcohol that tastes like pop - lol.

They make diet bacardi breezers now but I have yet to see them in the shops.

Well, what they call beer here is really lager i don't like bitter unless its in a shandy but i will drink lager and my daughter got me into those WK?(wicked iron brews) a couple of years ago and i like them but you can't get them here. Its good that you don't drink beer because its full of empty calories but its my only vice (if you don't count chocolate) so i can't complain.

WKD, I like them. We were drinking cheeky Vimto the other week which is lethal - lol. It is a measure of port with a blue WKD (I think that is raspberry). It tastes just like fizzy vimto, it is about £4.50 a glass and gets you really drunk - lol.

I don't like the blue wicked but may have to try one of those cheeky vimtos, sopund like fun apart from the £4.50 part that is.

I like a cold beer if it is a hot day but I prefer cider.

i read an article about alcohol and dieting saying that when alcohol mixes with stomarch acid it forms a substance that is instantly the fuel for the body so the metabolism switches souly to that for abot 12hours which means your can't burn fat interesting fact i thought i was a big guinness drinker yea big as in consuming and weight lol

I've heard that alcohol slows down your metabolism but i never knew why (she says while knocking back a low carb beer ) but i'm not prepared to give it up and anyway i've lost weight before while still drinking
