Anyone else feeling this way today, too? It has been just.....a BUSY week. I'm really glad to have the chance to kick back, relax, and get some stuff done around home.
I'm getting in a good workout tonight after work, and then catching up around home. Tomorrow my husband's going to help me do the rest of the "house work" and then I'm having some ladies over for the evening--girls' night!!!
On Sunday my DH & I are going out to lunch after church, and then shopping for some new clothes for ME! Yay!
Tonight - Go home from work and walk the dog while DH is hunting. Eat a healthy dinner. Go to the gym. Maybe squeeze in a DVD.
Saturday - DH is in the woods all day, so I'm solo. I will most likely clean up around the house, walk the dog, pay bills, go to the gym. Saturday night I will go to a high school football playoff game with my family while DH hosts poker night at my house.
Sunday - spend all day with DH since I will be going through withdrawl. Go to church, gym, then to the bar for football (I know, I know, church and bar on the same day sounds funny - but our local bar has the BEST game day specials and 3 big screen TVs!!!). Hopefully squeeze in another walk with the dog, weather permitting. It looks like it is going to be a cold weekend for us!!!!!!
Both of you ladies sound like you have great weekends planned! I don't particularly have anything planned... just some cleaning. Nothing fun. I am looking for a new church, so I'll go to another new church on Sunday. Currently, my husband's schedule has him working Sunday mornings, so I'm on my own on this church search. Actually, he works a lot of the time right now, so I'm on my own a lot. I think I need to add some fun to this weekend!! Maybe a movie??? Anyone seen a good one lately?
So far no real plans. I'm still fighting this darn cold so no exercise on my part until its gone. It will be raining this weekend so may just stay home and snuggle with my bf. Maybe will go out and see Matrix or Radio.
I would LOVE to see Radio! I'm sure DH will try to talk me into going to see the Matrix Sunday night.
Jina - are you looking to rent a movie or go out to the movies? I personaly prefer renting these days. People in movie theaters anymore are RUDE with all the talking, seat kicking, cell phones and such. Sad as it sounds, I want to rent legally blonde 2. I like Reese and need to see a lighthearted, don't-have-to-think-about-it movie.
I would watch Legally Blonde 2 with you!!! It's embarrassing to admit, but I enjoy a lighthearted, no-brains comedy now & then. Wouldn't have seen it in the theater, but I'd definitely rent it! Too bad we don't live closer!
Oh, I'm definitely a fan of Legal Blonde! I loved the first one, so that's a great choice to rent! Thanks for bringing it up. I just might have to go and rent it. I'm definitely a fan of comedies (they're my favorite), and I really enjoy no-brainer movies like Ace Ventura and Happy Gilmore (Should I be embarrassed to be admitting this???)
My DH and I saw Radio a few weekends ago, and it was great!! I'd recommend it.
Leslie: I know what you mean about rude theatre goers. It is frustrating to try and watch a movie with all the cell phones and talkers. (The price is also frustrating!!!)
