Default Boot Camp Challenge Day 44-Weekly Wrap Up!

Good evening troops! Sarge has been on a short furlough due to technical problems and a surprise visit from DD!

Group Activity for Week of 10/5-2134.5 We are only a couple hundred off our goal for this week, and I KNOW there are some minutes out there that haven't been posted!

No new topic today, just a wrap up from this past week and getting geared up for next.

I hope you found some of the information and links I posted helpful. Searching for good information keeps me in the loop and somehow more accountable!

I had a terrible night foodwise at work last night. It started with my DH ordering Chinese food. I figured I could get something relatively healthy and just cut it up really small to eat it. I admit it, I am getting desperate for real food! But alas, it was not to be. I couldn't chew the veggies and almost choked on them. So I was frustrated to tears! I just wanted to be able to put food in my mouth without worrying about whether I could chew it! Arghhh!

DH offered to go and get something else for me, but at that point I was just too upset. I ended up taking left over tuna salad in a red pepper shell (and I couldn't even eat that part!) and some hot and sour soup. So I was frustrated and hungry. Not a good combo. So I had a bit of a binge. M&Ms, a bagel, then a cinnamon roll! That is more sugar and carbs than I have had in ages! I feel rotten about it now, but at the time it seemed to help. I guess I needed to feel sorry for myself!

This week I think I would like to focus on exercise. Any thoughts on the subject? Or perferred topics? Just holler!

I had better run. Sorry for the extremely late start today, but don't worry..you're not missing anything!

I think a switch to exercise for this week would be great!

I did 40 minute brisk walking today plus lots of housework

I also had a very weak moment today. I couldn't help it. We have a pumpkin festival going on right now where I live, and one of the ladies brought over a PUMPKIN ROLL as a "thank you"! The whole stinking thing! DH wasn't home, I was by myself, and I caved and had 2 pieces. I have to admit they were pretty delicious, but now I am left feeling a tad bit guilty. I guess the important thing at this point is getting back OP instead of sulking. So, I plan to have a healthy dinner and life will go on. If the scale goes up this week, nothing I can do about it now but move on.

*sigh* Sugar is evil.

Sarge: How much longer will it be before you can chew some 'real' food? I know you must be frustrated to tears. One can only drink so many smoothies.

No exercise for me today. had to be at church for big breakfast at 8:00a.m. and was there all a.m. Had computer stuff to do, planning to walk this evening. But guess what? It is now raining, so I have enjoyed a day of comparative rest.

Oh dear Franny, I haven't had time to sit and post for a few days and can't remember the last time I posted my exercise ...

Thursday, 45 minutes treadmill, 15 minutes abs

Friday, 45 minutes treadmill, 15 minutes abs

Saturday, 30 minutes weights, 45 minutes elliptical cross trainer ...

Franny, you deserve a break ... I don't think your little binge is going to have a huge effect. You've lost so much weight already!!! I know you must feel guilty, we all feel that way when we eat something we don't usually eat. I've been messing up a little bit every day as well and really need to refocus on my food.

How nice your DD surprised you with a visit ... isn't it nice when they are almost adults (adult to me means about 25/26 ... whose kids are grown up when they are 19 or 20?!?) and you begin to like them ???

No exercise for me tomorrow so my time is all in for the week. Have a happy Sunday!!!
