Talking Make friends with your tape measure!

After all my ups and downs with the scales - some good news!

I took my measurements today and I have lost 10 inches in a month!! Yeaaah!. I've lost 2 inches off my waist, 2 inches off my hips, 1 inch of my chest and other 1/2 or 1 inch losses on various parts of my body. I've lost really evenly over my whole body, which is really good. I am really pleased!

So I've made a new friend in my tape measure and I recommend you do too - unlike the scale, it never lies!.

Amanda xx

I get measured at Curves once a month, and it's great when you see the numbers go down each month....I agree, it's much better than those horrid scales.

I read once somewhere that scales should be given as gifts to people that you don't like!

Got measured at Curves yestrday, show a loss of two and a half inches all round.. ya know, boobies, waist, hips, thighs and legs and arms. Felt great to see another loss and I can really feel it in my clothes and I am starting to see my hip bones, haven't seen them in over a decade I reckon.

Ya know Cathy, it has been that long since I've felt any bones in this wobbly bod of mine, a few timmes over the summer while laying on the beach tanning, I realised it was quite uncomfortable to feel them bones....having that extra fat certainly has served as a nice cushion all these years, but I am glad it's now going away
