How many times have we said, I'm not eating any more fast food?
How many times have we said, I am eating no more chips and etc??
WELL START OFF WITH MEDITATION IN THE MORNING! Meditation improves decision-making skills, thus it would be great to start your mornings off with a dose of meditation on the daily.
Overeating is a mental struggle as much as it is a physical one. If you can't control your thoughts, you won't be able to control your eating habits.
Here are two tips to help you get started:
1. Identify your triggers. What causes you to overeat? Is it boredom? Stress? Hunger? Once you know what triggers your overeating, you can start to make a plan to avoid those situations.
2. Distract yourself. When you feel the urge to overeat, try distracting yourself with something else. Get up and walk around, call a friend, or read.

How long do you think you should spend meditating? Is this a "clear your thoughts" kind of meditation or meditation on how you will cope with your triggers today? I'm not too familiar with meditation.
I think that instead of saying no to your favourite food, find a good, healthy alternative. For example, whenever I crave chips, I go for beetroot chips and corn chips. Similarly, you can also replace your favourite food with something healthy.
So true! I’ve sworn off fast food and chips so many times, only to cave in when cravings hit. Meditation in the morning really does help, starting the day with mindfulness makes it easier to make better choices. Another best solution for me was planning simple, healthy meals ahead of time.
