Default Please check my menu for today

Ok, here is it....pls critique it. Im coming from eating lowcarb for the last 3 yrs, and getting the lowfat added to it is ok, but Im concerned about some of the carbs. I know that potatoes trigger my sugar, so I'll just stay away from them.

Anyway here is today's plan

M 1 ~ cottage cheese w/berries
M 2 ~ protein shake
M 3 ~ salmon patty and broccoli salad (salmon patty is just salmon, eggs, and cottage cheese, cooked)
M 4 ~ protein shake
M 5 ~ grilled chicken, brown rice, veggie soup (made with legal foods only)
M 6 ~ oatmeal w/protien powder

What happens if Im not hungry for my 6th meal? What is the latest in the evening I should eat it?

Hey Robin,

M 1 ~ cottage cheese w/berries (good but make sure you eat enough berries to fill you up)
M 2 ~ protein shake (is this straight protein or does it have a carb component?)
M 3 ~ salmon patty and broccoli salad (salmon patty is just salmon, eggs, and cottage cheese, cooked) (what's in the broccoli salad?)
M 4 ~ protein shake (same as 2)
M 5 ~ grilled chicken, brown rice, veggie soup (made with legal foods only) (sounds good as long as the soup isn't too filling!)
M 6 ~ oatmeal w/protien powder (excellent choice)

If you aren't hungry for your last meal then the book says that you should still consume it. In reality a lot of people will skip the last meal if they aren't hungry - so it's your personal choice. As for timing of eating it according to BFL it doesn't really matter as late as you want. I tend to leave my last meal an hour before bed just to let it settle in my stomach first but that's a personal choice as well.

Thanks for your imput JC

My broccoli salad is shredded broccoli, carrots and cabbage, mixed with a bit of LF mayo and LF bacon bits.

Im not sure about the protein powder, Im thinking it has no carbs in it, because I bought it when I was still on Atkins.

ok well then you need to add carbs to your shakes and you lunch if you a following BFL *strictly*

It says a portion of protein and a portion of carbs at every meal.
