Greetings!

Whether you are a long time poster, brand new to this thread or 3fc, or a lurker wanting to join the conversation, I want to welcome you to the I Am My Own Valentine 2019 Daily Check-in and Accountability Thread. Here you can post your daily weight, share workouts and way of eating (WOE) plans, struggles and successes, life adventures and anything else. This is a warm and supportive thread so please settle in and make yourself at home.

February can be a notoriously difficult month with Valentine's Day and only 28 days to meet certain goals. At the same time, it can also seem unbearably long with some of us trudging through snow, ice and temperatures. This month let's vow to be our own Valentine every day by making good and healthy choices in all facets of our life. We're not perfect but that's not what this journey is about. Hi all! Happy February A big thanks go Curvy for continuing Rennie's thread, you do such a fantastic job running these threads every month, we are so lucky to have you!!

I put a 5 lb goal for this month, but I'll be okay if the number doesn't budge, but I lose inches and/or body fat percentage points. I'm bumping my hydration goal back up to 4L (from 3.5) because I feel better at that amount and for fitness, I will aim for doing my workouts at least three times per week.

Hi guys! This month, I will just be setting my goal for 8 lbs down from yesterday's weigh-in. That will put me at 162.0 even and pass me into the threshhold for a normal BMI for the first time ever. This has been my goal a few different times, and I always seem to start yoyo'ing and bounce back up when I hit the 163-165 range. Hoping to actually breakthrough to 162 this month. Thank you so much curvynotlumpy for starting this monthly thread again, and I love the title.

I lost 5 pounds in January and I'm happy with that. In fact if I were to consistently lose that amount each month I would be content, as that would mean that I would be in Onederland by the end of the year. My goal this week remains to drink more water. In terms of food I am doing fine and I am cutting back on my portions at supper time but I still struggle with water intake. I still am so tired all the time and can't find the energy needed to exercise yet. So diet remains my focus for now.

Well... This cold is taking it out of me. I've been feeling pretty bad, I hope this cold goes away soon. It has also crossed my mind that all these lbs dropping as if it was nothing are because of all the fluids I've lost due to this cold and that they will come righ back when I feel better.

I've decided to follow Casey's lead and set a goal for 8 lbs. this month. Eight just happens to be my favorite number but it's also the number that would bring me under 200 pounds for the first time since......I don't know when. As part of the health and wellness program I'm in we're doing a campus wide walking challenge from February 3-March 17. I'm excited by this as it fits well into all the walking I already do and being part of a virtual team helps strengthen my resolve to keep moving

DayDreamer, stay focused on getting healthy. You're doing great with diet and exercise and will be back at it the way you want to be soon .

Another drop! This is crazy! I really hope these lbs stay away once this cold is gone, I'll be a bit sad if they don't. I do feel slightly better today, my throat doesn't feel as bad and there seems to be less fluid in it. So hopefully the end of this dreadful thing is on sight.

Hey guys! Getting a chance to catch up, so I'm taking advantage of it...lol. Fluctuating a bit so far this week, but I'm surprised I'm not up more today after eating well over my calories yesterday (over 700 cals above my limit!), so I'm taking it in stride. Well...we did end up going out to dinner last night after all, and I am definitely paying for it today. So bloated! It doesn't help that I barely drank any water yesterday, either. Good morning, everyone!!! I’ve been missing for the past week or so and I got busy with school stuff and helping my cousin pack up her house (she’s having her floors redone next week). Then yesterday and the night before I got hit with the GI bug going around (hence my significant whoosh—I’m actually surprised I held onto it today); great news is I'm feeling 1000% better and am ready to get back on track and back & at it! I can’t believe the first week of the month already flew by! Hope all is well for all you lovelies
