Here’s to an OP week to end the month!

Good morning Debbie and chicks to come. Thanks for starting us off this week. Isn’t it great when you can stretch a meal for a few days with add ins. Hope you get some down time today.

We had a really nice time last night at dinner. I stuck to my plan somewhat. I had 1.5 glasses of sangria. We elected to have dessert at the restaurant. I know fried ice cream is definitely not OP LOL. Scale is up today but will make good choices all week in hopes of hitting my goal. If not I am good with maintaining this month since I am under goal.

I did go for the shortest training ride ever. The cold got me. I certainly was dressed for a winter ride, but once my hands went numb I was done. Going to try again today but waiting for it to warm up slightly. Going with my rechargeable gloves so that should help tremendously. I think I will get my food prep done for the week first.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Good morning Jennifer and chicks to come!

(Jennifer, I saw what you did there. Ruth fixed it last time I didn't start a new thread)

Had a very productive day yesterday but today I need to do meal prep/planning and some paperwork My weight was back down today; for me it takes about 2 days of OP eating to undo a spike after a splurge. I'm on track to beat my WL goal for the month.

Jennifer, it was chilly here yesterday mostly due to the wind. I would NOT have ridden my bike outside. Hope you have better weather today.

Have a good start to the week, chicks!

Good morning everyone!

Jennifer, thanks for getting us started this week! At least you tried with the bike ride. It sounds pretty cold.

I am sitting outside of the restaurant. It’s not busy yet and I’m a little bit early so thought I’d say hello. Kirk and I were down at the laundromat already this morning. Our plan is to leave for Glenwood right after I get off work. We are having a stretch of nice weather although it may snow up in the mountains when we travel. We shall see.

Have a great Sunday everyone! Hard to believe it’s the last week of March.

Good morning,

I think the sun may come out today, I hope so tired of rain. Yesterday did not do a grocery run but got all of the cleaning done. Managed a good day of op eating, I am not on track for my goal for this month and we leave for Disney Tuesday afternoon but I will try to get some of my goal accomplished. I will definitely get a lot of walking done there. Today, I do have to work for 1 hour to watch someone give a person their performance review (HR thing) and I think we might go watch DS play a hockey game today. We have not seen him in a while.

Have a great day everyone!

Pearlrose the extra walking should help get the scale going in the right direction again.
Beth that’s great that you should beat your WL goal this month.
Debbie hope work goes by quickly.

LOL yes Beth I got confused this morning. I did manage 22 miles this morning. Two layers of thermal pants, neoprene booties over my cycling shoes, Under Armor zip up thermal, thermal cycling jacket, windbreaker, polar tech beanie, balaclava and heated gloves today. Temps were worse than yesterday and included snow showers but I did it. Definitely not my fastest pace but under the circumstances I’ll take it and the 800 calories burned too!

Now its time for soup!!!!

Good evening ladies,
It is been a long time since my last post, I think since mid January. My life got a little crazy with my mom and sister here. I had no time besides helping my mom and dealing with the kids school and activities. I also got sick with a bad TMJ flare up that lasted me for almost 2 months. My mom is doing very good now, she ended her therapies at the end of February and she and my sister went back to Colombia.

I am finally getting back to my normal routine, I haven't touch my laptop in almost two months except for paying bills. My eating is been out of place and I haven't step on the scale since January. I am afraid to see the damage but I need to get back on plan. Tomorrow I am planning on going grocery shopping and maybe starting PH1 for a week or two.

I hope you all are doing good!

Good morning,

Today I started from home, going into work shortly. I need to pack tonight, we leave for the trip after school tomorrow. Yesterday we went to Six Flags for a bit and then went to one of DS hockey games.

Jekel wow your a strong woman, I would not have been able to do 22 miles in that weather

Beth glad you are going to make your goal for the month

Isa welcome back, sounds like you had a lot going on. You can join the rest of us trying to get back on track.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, Gang! My sister's appointment went well last week. She likes the doctor at Yale and they scheduled her surgery for April 13.

We had a nice, relaxed weekend although I am so sick of this cold! They say it will hit 60 degrees by Thursday so I am looking forward to that.

We went out to dinner with friends because it was our town's restaurant week. I was happy to see grilled salmon with grilled veggies on the special menu so I think I did pretty well. I maintained portion control but I did indulge in a wonderful latte after dinner - at least I didn't get the Bailey's added like my friends did.

It is nice to meet you, Isa. I am a newbie on this forum. I returned to SB on February 18 after being mostly off it for nearly 10 years. I'm enjoying feeling in control again.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Kathy

Good morning!

Isa, welcome back! I have not been as regular here lately, either. While you were away tending to your family things we ended up buying a laundromat. Life has been busy still trying to keep on track as much as possible.

Anyway, we made it to Glenwood last night and got to the pool. Right now I am sitting outside trying to drive the nail polish on my toes. Headed to the pool soon. Posting from my phone and it’s not working so well this morning. Have a great day everyone!

Hello,

I had an early start this morning, Spring break is over and the kids went back to school. DS1 forgot to tell us a month ago that they are going to start archery tomorrow and that he needs to bring a bow string. So, this morning I had to drive 45mins to a Bass Pro shop to buy him a bow string, of course the size he gave me is not correct and we had no information of the size of the bow, so I had to explain the associate how tall he was and he suggested a size, so hopefully that will help. No much in my agenda today, except for a grocery run and laundry.

Rose- Hope is not a long day at work today, you might need to get some rest before you trip to Disney
Kathy- Nice meeting you too
Debbie- Wow a laundromat, great investment! Hope you are enjoying the pool.

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Good afternoon chicks!

Welcome back to Isa! Sounds like life threw you a curve ball. And DS didn't help either! lol

Kathy, glad your sister likes the doctor.

Just another Monday at work; it was busy catching up after being out on Friday. But now it is over and this is a short week for me with Friday off. Weight is going down so I am doing something right. It also appears we are having spring; more sun and warmer temperatures mean the snow is almost gone.

Have a good evening, all!

Good morning chicks!

I am ready for work a few minutes early today....which makes me think I forgot something! lol Another work day with nothing special on the agenda which is fine. The snow is almost gone but it is going to rain today. Oh well, perhaps soon the bulbs will start blooming.

Food is good; it is satisfying to reach my month's goal. My WL seems slow right now but it is going in the right direction. It's a life style, right?

Have a great OP Tuesday chicks!

Good morning,

I am all packed now to just get through today. I am taking Kitty to vet this morning and then have a couple of conference calls but we are picking up DD2 from school and leaving after that. We will stop in Atlanta and stay with my sister for the night before continuing on to Disney. Not looking forward to the long drive. I am going to get to see a couple of my best friends from High School and my niece and sister are coming up to see us while we are there so it will a packed trip. The nice thing about having gone to Disney so many times is we can just go to the things we really like and not have to try and go to everything to see it all. I packed 4 pairs of good walking shoes with me.

Kathy glad your sister liked the doc. Way to go with food choices at dinner, it feels like a victory when we make good choices.

Beth your spring break is further out right. Enjoy your 3 day week

Debbie glad you are getting to enjoy the pool.

Isa I hate when the kids don't tell you something they need until the last minute. DD2 does it all the time.

Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon,

I went for a 2 mile walk after the kids left for school. It wasn't a long walk but better than staying home. For lunch today I made a bean soup and now I have leftover for a few days Now I am going to the grocery store, I been putting it off since Sunday and now we are out of fruit and veggies.

I finally was brave and weight in this morning. I was surprised to see only a 2lb gain, I mean I feel like I gained at least 10lbs, but I weight myself 3 times in two different scales to make sure the scale wasn't broken.

Beth- Congrats on making goal this month!
Rose- have a wonderful trip!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hello everyone!

I am sitting in the car waiting for my sister at the paint store. We have already traveled from Glenwood this morning, clean the laundromat and then a trip down to Denver and back. Denver side got about 8 inches of snow last night and our cleaning girl couldn’t get into the laundromat so we came over early this morning. Now when I get home I have to trade cars and go back up to the ski area to pick up the commercial order. Sister and I already talked about and on the plan salmon and whole-wheat noodle casserole for dinner. I think we will eat early and go to bed. LOL

Rose, safe travels! It does seem like a very long drive!

Hope you’re all having a great day!
