Default Beach Boot Camp Day 1

Beauties, Ten hut! Line up in formation, let's get this show on the road!

Here are my goals for today:

1. Drink LOT'S of water, even if it does make me have to get up every 2 hours! Well, I did it...and was up every two hours! There has to be a happy medium!

2. Cook a good breakfast for myself no matter how tired I am. Now this was no problem...mushroom "hash" and eggs...yum!

3. Exercise at least once, twice if class lets out early, even if it is just the 1 mile WATP tape. I am really proud of myself! I got up extra early so I could exercise before class...and I did!

4. Not let being bone tired stop me from making good decisions. Not so hot with this...woke up and ate 2 cookies in the middle of the day...not hunger, habit!

5. Have fun at my serger class tonight! This was an easy one! Made a robe using my new serger, and it turned out great!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find at least ONE NON SCALE VICTORY to celebrate! I know you can do it!

Well, 4 out of 5 isn't too shabby! Unfortunately I am unable to report a NSV for yesterday! But I will keep looking and I'm sure one will occur to me soon...so I'm not giving up, and you shouldn't either!

twodogmom reporting in!

My goals for today:

1. Eat my three meals and 2-3 snacks. Last night I was trying to figure out why I've been eating so much, and I think it's because I've been skipping meals and snacks and letting myself get totally starved, and then I can't seem to get full. I ate all of my meals and snacks....planned ahead and took lunch and snacks to work so that made it easier. But I ate pistachios last night while watching TV.....too many pistachios. Now they are gone, and I won't buy anymore.

2. Drink my water. I had been doing well with this, but have fallen off the boat when it comes to getting enough water. I did accomplish this (in part thanks to all the pistachios).

3. If it's not raining after work, I'll take the dogs for a walk. If it is raining (which it's supposed to be), I'll pull out some of my old exercise tapes that are tucked away in the cabinet, dust one off, and give it a go. Did not accomplish this. It was wet and raining after work, and I didn't pull out my exercise videos....I had a headache and used that as my excuse.

Oh dear! I'm in but I have a problem with the "boot camp" and military terminology so I will call it slipper or sock camp.

1. Eat breakfast (already done - I had a shake)
2. Avoid those damned pistachios! They make you retain water.
3. Walk the dogs this morning AND in the afternoon.
4. Avoid even nibbling at any of the goodies at the Fair Board meeting tonight.I more than nibbled on the coffee cake! That means I didn't meet #5 either! It's tough being human!
5. Eat CLEAN all day

I already have had my NSV - played tuna can hockey with the Girls on the deck this morning and was not winded!

I'm in!

Goals:
1. Get that water in.
2. Limit those nuts.
3. Pay more attention to my grazing.

After a week, I finally lost a pound and then gained it back the next day. Is this frustrating or what?

Lizziepie283 reporting

I'm in. And I aim to
1. Drink more water
2 Exercise ( already done 4 miles on bike.)
3. Stay on Phase 1 and 1/2 (I think that translates to keeping the carbs lite on Phase 2.)
4. Be careful as I go out to lunch with friends for our Ladies Monthly.
5. Find a NSV. Had one yesterday at Curves but guess that won't count for today. :

A good day for us all. Ann
