Default SlimFast diet done my way

Hi to everyone.
I started back on Weight Watchers and stalled out realizing that the free fruits and veggies are not being counted and I am probably eating more than I should. I am grateful for the weight loss from 282 lbs. to a low of 244 lbs. and from there I just can't break out of that lower number no matter whether I follow PointsPlus or Simply Filling.
So I decided to take a hard look at SlimFast figuring why not meal replace the two meals that I believe I mess up on. Dinner is more controlled. So I've found out and this was at Sam's that SlimFast comes in two different formulas. The 321 is a higher carb but low calorie meal replacement but the SlimFast High Protein is just 4 Grams Carbs and 2 Grams sugar. That is a formula that even a Diabetic person would be fine with and since I have a good 100 lbs. to lose, I decided ok, let's get this into action and I started a 1500 calorie diet yesterday.
I went to Walmart to also buy the meal replacement bars and a box of snack bars which was a peanut butter crisp bar.
My dinner was large. It was a skinned 1/2 chicken (420 calories),salad greens,2 cups,1 cup grape tomatoes,3 1/2 oz. sweet potato and 1 ear of corn,2 tablespoons Athenos Greek dressing which is 50 calories.
Later for a snack I enjoy 1 80 calorie Greek yogurt and air popped popcorn which was a measured 1/4 cup popcorn. When I drank the shake in the morning I also ate 1 banana.
This is definitely not a SlimFast diet as they have you eat but a 1500 calorie diet that was absolutely filling and the SlimFast products do fill me up because I eat a snack with it and can go for 4 hrs.
I woke up feeling great. I also know I am not undereating calories and messing with my metabolism. I also did call SlimFast and discussed alternate approaches using their products and what I deduced from the conversation is that meal replacing gives you a lot more control and less guesswork. I know I can buy frozen meals to get the guesswork out of the day and I work 12 hr. shifts, night shift and let me say this, frozen meals will be perfect for me to use and will go buy those today. My goal is a 1500 calorie a day diet and be full. This is very important to stick with this and push the scale down. I had taken a couple of days off, I don't drink sodas or sweets but I allowed myself what I wanted and saw a 4 lb. gain and know it will go away so with clothes and shoes I weighed 248 lbs. and in a week hopefully will be at 244 or so.
I was on YouTube and saw some other interesting products discussed such as Wonderslim. I thought this tastes so good to me and hoping that SlimFast which is readily available everywhere will do the job and the price is affordable so after listening to testimonials on other Programs including Medifast and others, I would stick to SlimFast for now and my meal will be a meal I enjoy and I believe I can stick to this.
At my weight I believe that 1500 calories is about as low as I should go since I feel good and I'll have skooch room to change to a lower calorie diet later on and eventually a 1200 calorie diet which is the lowest calories I'll ever go down to. I just have to be patient and be very accepting.
My goal is to lose a good amount this year. I started as I had said at 282 lbs. I'd love to break out of 200 lbs. into the new year so I'm hopeful this idea will work for me.

Hi, I have returned to Weight Watchers, after flitting from diet to diet, and I'm doing Pointsplus counting. Simply Filling Technique ALWAYS made me gain weight, starting with the old Core program. I just can't do it. I need the portion control of counting points.

For me, 0 fruits and veg work, because the more I eat of those the less I eat of other things that contain points.

Because I HATE to cook, I like to use simple no-cook tips. I bought a book called The Simple Diet by Dr. Anderson you might be interested in. I don't intend to follow his diet, but I want all the non-cook tips I can get, using shakes as meal replacements and frozen meals supplemented with veg and fruits.

I'm determined to finally get this weight off! I went back to Weight Watchers meetings today and really enjoyed my meeting. We can do this!
