What meals or treats do you look forward to?

  • For me, it's much easier to keep my calories low when I know I have a favorite meal planned or a treat.

I love Trader Joe's indian frozen entrees for lunch... and skinny cow ice cream for dessert

    What are your favorites?
  • Trader Joe's Strawberry Coconut Milk ice cream, Vitamuffins topped with whipped cream, Gone Bananas chocolate dipped banana slices, omigosh don't get me started .
  • I look forward to every meal. Otherwise, you're just not eating right.
  • ^so pretentious. IanG I get what your trying to say here but it's condescending in its execution.
To answer the OP's question without trying to shut her down or make her feel inferior for enjoying an anticipated meal; I look forward to making portabello mushroom pizza and a nightly dose of sugar free jello.
  • Sushi!!!! And really good Mexican with margaritas.

I enjoy the things I eat; I don't look forward to each meal as a feast as Ian does. For one, it's not financially feasible for me. So I settle for decent quality, try to incorporate good veggies, and go from there.
  • I also look forward to every meal and enjoy everything I eat.

I especially love eggs and eat a lot of them. A favorite is a sandwich I make with a breakfast sandwich maker, using either a gluten free English muffin or two gluten free waffles, one slice of processed cheese such as American and an egg.

I also love the occasional Hershey bar.
  • I don't see how Ian's comment was condescending. I feel the same way. I don't make myself eat things I don't like, and I look forward to every single thing that goes into my mouth! But I'm not a picky eater, either.

Of course there are special things that I enjoy more than my every day type meals. Like sushi. But I've never said to myself, "Man I really don't want to eat that for dinner, it's gonna suck." (Well, I mean, maybe I would if an awful cook was hosting me for dinner!)
  • I agree with Ian and nonameslob. I was actually going to post the same thing. I love EVERY meal that I make. If I didn't love it, I wouldn't eat it. I think the most important part of being able to maintain is actually finding foods that you truly love that fit into your meal plan.
  • Egg roll or spring roll(2)
iced mocha(I use it as a meal since it has so much milk)
Macoroni and cheese Stoffers frozen meal
  • I personally look forward to the occasional açaí with granola. Oh my <33
