Replacement meal shakes

  • Are there people here who take a replacement meal shake at all? I am horrible with breakfast and I was wondering if that would be the way for me to go to get things started each day?

    If so, do you have any suggestions on which kinds you like?
  • I've always enjoyed eating a meal but on the occasions that I've bought protein drinks I've enjoyed Muscle Milk. They have powder and the premixed kind in containers. I've tried both vanilla and chocolate and both are good and seemed filling.
  • For me personally, for whatever reason, I find drinking shakes not as satisfying or filling. 200 calories in a protein bar is way, way more filling - why? I have no idea.

    But, I do like Muscle milk. We would sometimes add it to a smoothie after weight training - 1 cup of yogurt, 1/2 a cup to a cup of frozen berries and a scoop of vanilla or chocolate muscle milk makes for a great meal!
  • Thanks. I just cannot get myself to eat breakfast so I want to try them and see how they work for me. Maybe I will end up having to bite the bullet and eat breakfast anyways. 😊
